An application I didn't know I like it.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It's our main chat application and video call application. It solves communication problems. It helps us get summaries and recordings of our calls. It also enables us to establish channels for communication between groups and be more transparent with our messages. Additionally, I have been using it lately to screen record explanations and share them with others, as it has a platform similar to Loom, and it has been excellent. I think they need to add more functionality to it, but it's a nice addition to a robust application.

Pros

  • AI integration.
  • Video calls.
  • Chat Channels.

Cons

  • Screen record messages.
  • AI for writing.

Return on Investment

  • Time on app.

Webex Review

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We currently use Webex for large town hall meetings where we stream communications between management to field workers. We also use it in our meeting rooms where we use smart boards integrated with Webex for collaboration with team members onsite and remote. The scope of our use case is to support remote collaborations from a small to large scale.

Pros

  • Live streaming to a large audience
  • Collaboration between on site and remote workers
  • Creating live drawings between team members and saving recordings

Cons

  • Webex Audio can sometimes drop
  • Webex could have more collaboration tools like creating tasks
  • Webex can have more integrations with microsoft tools

Return on Investment

  • Webex has helped communicate management changes to over 10K employees
  • Webex has been invaluable for help desk to solve hundreds of tickets via screen sharing
  • Webex has been helpful in communicating with network technicians to install over hundreds of new installs per year

Webex rocks my socks

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is our primary used meetings solution with thousands of meetings run daily. We also used it as our primary solution for Webinars, with hundreds and at time even thousands of participants. Apart from this it is our single corporate supported calling solution for making internal and external calls. We're currently running a mix of on-premises Communication Manager systems and Dedicated Instance Communication Manager systems, with a few offices using Webex Calling Multi Tenant. The simplicity that these systems integrate is simply outstanding.

Pros

  • Collaborate across companies in a simple and intuitive way.
  • One application that can me used for all functionalities with the combined ability of meetings, calling, messaging and connectivity to devices.
  • Provides an easy and intuitive way of collaborating with peers and has the ability to use threads with-in one communication.
  • Simple user experience with seamless SSO login.

Cons

  • Provide same status and diagnostic information as Jabber had would be an added bonus.
  • .

Return on Investment

  • Seamless collaboration.
  • Touchless voice control.
  • Easy use.
  • Collaboration cross domain.
