Instant communication and sharing. Cons. Contacting to outside org stakeholders we need to use different app.

A complete bundle for company communication

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used Webex App as a internal organization communication portal and we are extremely impressed with the way this app behaves , UI and working as well. We used this for chat , calling , company surveys , discussions pod, even for conferences , video call as well. It has the bundle of inbuilt features with security and efficiency.

Pros

  • Super easy to manage , use and work on the platform.
  • Unbeatable security features for internal company discussions.
  • I can access it from both mobile and laptop with the security

Cons

  • The little issues came with video call performance and message latency mainly on mobiles.
  • It consumes high bandwidth and requires VPN for perfect working.

Likelihood to Recommend

Although with the little issues of bandwidth, Webex gives seamless experience of UI and workflow. The way the product is designed it looks premium and the best part is we can see all the necessary communication option in one roof. The quality of video call are good but if it stretch longer there might be slight quality issue.

Good APP for Communication

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Webex is the main application for communication within the organisation. Thanks to Webex, there are short paths within the organisation and everyone is always up to date. We also use Webex to communicate with our external customers via the telephone service. Webex boards are also used in all meeting rooms. Problems usually occur when the connection is interrupted.

Pros

  • fast connection to external Webex boards
  • Chat History
  • GIF

Cons

  • Connection to Webex boards sometimes doesn't work well
  • Translator directly in the chat
  • more GIF

Likelihood to Recommend

The Webex app is well suited for fast communication within the organisation. The group chat is particularly important for many people in our organisation, as some people in the company work from home and this ensures that everyone receives the latest information. Department meetings are also started via the group chats.

The Webex App review from a CSXM Perspective

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In my orgnisation we support Webex App as a partner for many customers. We support the Webex App as customer success experience manager, where we do review and analyse the data so that we can forecast on growth. This helps to identify the need of additional licences and helps to support the customer needs.

Pros

  • Messaging within organisation
  • Create meeting and invite participant to join in virtually around the world
  • Integrate other collaborations solutions like the calling and so on

Cons

  • Improve DECT integration on the calling features
  • Make it more flexible to to pair devices via control hub
  • Make recording available for the supervisor so that they can extract calls records for agent within the infrastructure

Likelihood to Recommend

I have managed the build and run for Webex Calling implementation. Migrations and activating phone numbers are quite tedious when you have a large number of users, maybe we can add the numbers directly in bulk update and activate it accordingly.

It is also difficult to do an extract and to read which licences type and when the licences was assigned on the users list accordingly.

Webex App: A Professional Virtual Meeting Platform

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Cisco Webex App is the go to application which my organization uses it to arranges any online or virtual meetings which involve internal team workers or some times may be some members which are outside the organization like various supplies, vendors and manufacturers. My organization also uses it organize various online trainings and webinars which involve around 200+ participants.

Pros

  • The online meeting within the internal team using Webex App is always a good experience as it helps well in sharing screen, and any content for that matter.
  • It helps in arranging online interviews and it is also very good experience using the web version of Webex App.
  • It also helps in arranging online training sessions and webinars which generally involve huge number of participants generally over 200+ participants and Webex App handles it very well.

Cons

  • First of all, the Webex App desktop application installation package is huge to download and it takes some time to get it installed in the system. So, if someone from outside of organization wants to attend a meeting using Webex App, and is not using Webex regularly, then the participant needs to install this heavy application if that participant is not aware that Webex App is having web version also.
  • Webex App is not able to perform well and optimize the video and audio quality based on the available internet bandwidth. So, it becomes difficult to attend online meeting using Webex App particularly using low bandwidth internet.

Likelihood to Recommend

I would really recommend Webex App to any of colleague or recommend the company's management to start using Webex App for virtual meeting in their organization as once the Webex App is installed in the system and most probably working professionals have access to high quality internet, it becomes extremely user-friendly and convenient to have a call with any of the team member of the organization.

Webex App: One of the best instant messaging apps for business

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As a remote worker who works on a non-remote team, it is incredibly important that I stay in touch with my teammates and others in the organization, both from a work and personal standpoint. I can use Webex App to ask how someone's weekend was, quickly follow up on a project, ask a quick question, or send a friendly reminder. Webex App acts as a virtual desk touch.

Pros

  • Seeing someone's availability and status
  • Integrating with my calendar and meetings
  • Integrating with Giphy for fun gifs

Cons

  • Easier group discussions, as default title is always "General" then the people listed, it can be difficult for some users to visualize who they are talking to if done quickly.
  • The ability to set my status as "available" so people know they can reach out to me, even if I haven't been at my desk for 10 minutes.
  • The ability to send a message based on someone's availability status (i.e. not in a meeting, or not presenting) rather than just time.

Likelihood to Recommend

Instead of stopping by someone's desk, not knowing if they are in a meeting or if they have their head down working on something important, I can send a Webex App message, allowing them to address the question when their workflow allows it. This saves time for both of us. Because I am a remote worker on a non-remote team, I can also use it to simply catch up on everyone's day, send a picture of my cat, or just generally maintain a social connection with people in and outside of my team.

Webex App is not appropriate for sending documents that will want to be retrieved at a later time, sending wordier messages with more than one objective, or communicating with multiple people outside of one's team. This is a shortcoming of messaging platforms overall, not necessarily Webex.

Effective Communications with Webex App

Rating: 8 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Webex App is being used in our organization as a key communication tool. It enables us to effectively connect with team members with the help of multimedia tools. Webex app has a cross-platform support that allows fast and on the go access for work related communications. Members can also join meetings from the application.

Pros

  • File sharing and collaboration capabilities
  • Call, meetings, and chat functionality.
  • Ability to screen share and record meetings

Cons

  • Efficient and faster web interface

Likelihood to Recommend

Webex App is highy suitable for remote organizations. Any organizations have a mix of even a limited number of remote employees or those that promote flexible work, can benefit a lot from Webex App. Webex App would enable them with the omni-channel communication requirements. It is highly effective in such cases.
