We use Trello every two weels for sprint planning so we can see what each team members is committing to for the next two weeks. We also use chrome extension that connects to Trello for hours allocation so we put the time on each card and then it adds up the time at the top. Additionally, we use it annually when looking at priorities and events we want to do or not.
Pros
task management
prioritization
visibility for teams
Cons
you can't see all cards assigned to you in one place
the time tracking has to be an extension and sometimes fails to load
viewing in timeline view is not intuitive

We really like it when you have a list of ideas for events, initiatives, programs, engagements and then you sort them into a plan for the year with the categories of "must do" "could do" "should do" and "won't do". We can assign team members and timelines to each card and then revisit on a quarterly basis to update and make sure we're saying "yes" to the right things.
We use Trello to help us keep track of all our current, future, and past projects. Each person has their own account, and we share boards, assign jobs, comment, and leave feedback as needed. It has been very helpful to keep us updated and everyone on task.
Pros
Keeping projects organized
Sending notifications for updates on boards
The ability to tag certain people in comments is great & helpful
Cons
Login is confusing
When creating new boards, sometimes information is posted twice within the board

It's a great tool and pretty simple to set up. It helps keep work organized. It helps us communicate with other people on certain tasks/jobs. I would love to spend more time learning all the cool features!
Trello is being used across the whole organization, to better label and prioritizes tasks. We actually integrate it within our company Slack, in order to get updates on tasks being done, as well as new tasks being updated on Trello by our admin. It allows our operations team to add new tasks automatically to our Slack channel to specific employees which immediately sends notifications to each employee. Also allows our employees to update us on their progress on tasks assigned.
Pros
Prioritizing tasks, using colour codes.
Drag and drop interface to move tasks along the progress funnel.
Integration with third party softwares to automate notifications to select employees.
Cons
Further integration with de-bugging tools for our dev team
Ability to notify certain employees for tasks that pertain to them only to remove clutter
Integration with Microsoft Project as well, as bizanalyst require more powerful tools
Likelihood to Recommend
It's appropriate for general task delegation and prioritization. Very easy to use, and you don't have to be a "techy" to understand and use it effectively. Appropriate for small-medium sized businesses, but once you grow, you will want more powerful tools and analytics for tracking projects such as Microsoft Projects.
We use Trello to collaborate with our website developers. It has been a very effective way to organize projects, tasks, and to-do items, along with all the discussions related to each one. Very user-friendly and helpful. It solves the problem of trying to manage a lot of communication and keeping people on task.
Pros
Project management.
Task organization.
Communication threading and archiving.
Cons
None
Likelihood to Recommend
When you have a project with multiple sub-tasks and to-do items, it's easy to visually see and arrange and follow this on Trello. It's great that each person can be assigned to a specific card, and you can choose what kind of notifications you want so that you can stay on top of things.

We’re using Trello within teams as each team has its preference. In my team, we use Trello. Trello comes in handy for tasks and projects that require the whole team to be keeping up with the work and progress of each other member instantly.
Pros
It allows you to divide and redivide tasks very easily and assign each to a specific member while keeping track of the progress of each member.
The personal boards and team boards allow each individual to stay focused and collect their ideas. It allows the team to be on the same page regarding the goals and progress that have been achieved so far
It has very good packages for enterprises/individuals, and offers a free version.
Attaching files has never been easier.
The integration between Trello and other software has proven to be very useful especially with Evernote.
Cons
The search options need to get reinforced and improved in a way to allow the search by keywords. It should be easier to look for cards in personal and team boards.
When we’d use it for branched and complex projects it was inefficient as it lacked advanced features to serve the project's complexity.
The interface also is not the most advanced and in my opinion, they can work on it to make more professional and elegant.
Likelihood to Recommend
It’s very well suited for small to medium-sized projects where tasks are somewhat simple and team members are moderate in number. It is not so well suited for big, complex projects or a large headcount of users. It is more suited for less professional atmospheres since it would need many enhancements to be able to compete with the most advanced software.

We use Trello to manage ongoing projects--specifically those that have many balls in the air at the same time and set time schedules that occur throughout the year. Using Trello has allowed us to 'let go' of the worry of missing a key part of the project or a key completion date. These projects have the high likelihood of being handed off for management by others, so it is key to have everything down in black and white to be sure everything continues to run smoothly, even with a change in the staff/management of the project.
Pros
Keeps our To-Do list organized and visible
Shares project status with all interested parties
Allows others to contribute to the tracking of the project
Cons
Some features are only available in the subscription version. Trello is great enough to use at home/with family projects, as well, but paying for some of the fun stuff is a hard sell.
Likelihood to Recommend
Trello is great for tracking the progress of projects that have specific completion dates or tasks that must be finished in specific orders. We've used it for fundraising projects and event planning, not to mention planning of specific work projects. Trello's flexibility makes it so easy to set up and share new boards with interested parties.
We use Trello for work and projects collaboration in the IT department. It allows us to keep track of projects progress and to stay on top of the game with daily and monthly tasks, both individual and team-based tasks. Having different Boards for different projects with deadlines and notes makes it easier for us to work in an organized manner.
Pros
Capability to create Boards for different projects.
Ability to invite co-workers, friends, etc to collaborate on projects.
Capability to control visibility at different levels.
Cons
The ability to see completed items after being archived.
The ability to see projects on calendar view format.
Email alert on upcoming and due cards.
Likelihood to Recommend
Trello is completely well suited for team collaboration and serves as a type of basic platform for project management.

Trello is used by individual users in our organization. It is an easy to use, intuitive and graphically pleasing service. Most people are using it as a planning board using all kinds of lists. For me personally, I use it to track my tasks and use different lists for all the statuses. Adding a bit of color makes it easily interpretable in a second. Having the mobile app helps me keep track on the road.
Pros
Graphically pleasing.
Easy to work with, easy to understand.
Sharing is easy.
Cons
I don't like the pricing on the version that has AD-integration. It is way too much.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is good for personal or small work groups. Personally I lose track if the group is too big that shares the board, but that might also be a problem with similar products. As we have an Office 365 license, many people are migrating to Microsoft Planner, not necessarily because Trello is missing features, but because Planner is deeply integrated into the whole Office 365 suite.

We use Trello across the organization for managing our responsibilities and deadlines. We assign tasks to users and follow up deadlines during each weekly check-in.
Pros
It is super simple to use.
There's no training needed. It's very self-explanatory and uncomplicated.
The deadlines are easy to manage through the notifications via email.
Cons
Its simplicity is also its handicap. I cannot get any of our developers to use Trello. They are sticking with GitHub (understandably) so I have to use Trello for mostly managerial tasks (across no-tech users) and follow-up with GitHub for developer-related tasks
If there was a way to connect to GitHub, that'd be epic.
Likelihood to Recommend
If you have a super busy team that needs a very simple solution, Trello is the way to go. We have a team of people who are post-it lovers. They do everything with post-its. Well, that's exactly how Trello functions. Write on a post-it, assign to them, attach a deadline, voila. But it isn't your tool to manage developer tasks. Maybe you can track bugs, but since the dev team won't deal with anything else but Github (for us, and Jira for my former team) we stick with just managerial staff.
We use Trello within our IT department. It is a great tool for planning out projects and tracking their progress. It has a simple intuitive interface and makes it easy for users to organize plans and communicate with each other as they proceed. It's not the only tool we use, but it is a favorite.
Pros
Easy visual organization of overall tasks
Straightforward intuitive ways to dive into more detail per task
Handy communication tools among group members
Checklists for tracking progress
Tagging system for tasks/cards
Cons
No way to track time on tasks
Communication within cards is easily overlooked from a higher perspective/view
No built in way to track history/progress as a project moves forward
Likelihood to Recommend
Trello is great for small groups, or even for individuals, looking for an easy way to plan and organize projects. For larger teams, it may become a zoo of cards and communication threads. Also, Trello does not have tools for managing time on projects, so you can't easily project expected time, nor track actual time for tasks. There are no burndown measurements for establishing sprints and that sort of thing.
