Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Well, for a while, we used Trello as our primary platform for organizing work, collaborative boards, and organizational modules. During these three years of use, while it was very helpful, we noticed that, given the size of the organization, it was starting to become too small for the use we required. However, I can say that Trello is an excellent first tool and that using it definitely helps a lot.

Cons

Overall site performance
Improve security. During the time we were using the platform, it crashed several times, impacting our daily operations, leaving us with no way to access it offline (the phone app was an option, but this, too, tended to fail).
Improve access. Since Atlassian acquired Trello, in our experience, creating an account or simply accessing boards has become more complicated than before, using just two clicks.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you're an entrepreneur with a small business or a digital artist with a lot of commissions, I think Trello would help you a lot in your daily work. It's a platform that's very simple and intuitive at its core. It allows you to see how much progress you're making, how much work you're doing, how long it takes you to complete an order, or simply monitor the tasks you complete each day.

I use Trello almost every single day. Without Trello, it would be easy to have messages related to new clients or to-do items laying all over the place, but Trello gives each objective and business item a home. Its layout is engaging, its cards practical, and its features widespread.

I particularly enjoy the time tracking feature, even though my company doesn’t utilize it as often. I think it’s a wonderful solution to providing accountability and bolster data on how long certain tasks take certain people

Cons

It’d be nice for an admin to put a limit of how many cards are in one card overall. It can get aesthetically overwhelming at times.
I don’t love how Trello automatically sends you an email for every piece of communication sent via Trello. I’m already checking it myself daily, and sometimes have to sort through double the information bc of the emails. I also realize this is a feature I could turn off myself though.

Within my company, we are regularly onboarding new clients, who are having their very first experience with our company and what our company can offer. But, before we can get the new clients launched, we often have a lengthy to-do list to get through in order to prepare all new materials for the new clients.

Trello has proven to be the most helpful resource for client onboarding, where we often have 10 to 20 objectives within a single card detailing what needs to be done and when it needs to be done in order to get the client running.

I use Trello to organize my tasks and group them into categories for each client. Previously, I used my notes app to write out lists of what I needed to do, but it was difficult to distinguish which task was for which client. Trello has fixed that for me and has made it easy for me to organize my tasks.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Trello to manage our software's current development projects. Any new features have a new board created where all tasks needed for the project go.

We use Trello to manage what fixes need to be done and what is getting pushed out. We use different automation and card templates to streamline the process.

Pros

We use statuses fairly heavily to rank how much of a priority an issue is
Assigned users are great and easy to read
Things are very easy to find

Cons

Sorting cards could be better. It's limited in how you can sort columns.
The search could be better for organizations who have been using it for as long as we have. We have to sift through a lot when looking for a specific older card.

Likelihood to Recommend

Over the years, we've been very happy with it. We've gone to market for new solutions just to see if we like anything more and always end up back at Trello.

Newer software has a lot more bells and whistles, but tends to be harder to use. Trello is fairly basic and good at what it does.

My employees are scattered across the US. We use Trello to track the activities that need to be accomplished, as well as who is responsible for accomplishing them. I use the automation feature to create lists of recurring activities each month. I also use the template feature, combined with the checklists, to create lists of reports that need to be sent on a monthly basis.

Allowing me to see how many tasks still need to be accomplished

Cons

I would love to be able to add a date to the automation (e.g., create a task labeled "October bank rec" instead of just "bank rec").
Removing an employee who has left is not easily accomplished

Using Trello has been revolutionary for my business. I have multiple clients with multiple needs. Being able to track what needs to be done for each client has helped me to ensure that nothing slips through the cracks. Being able to assign tasks and see when those tasks have been completed helps me to keep on top of work that is outstanding.

It is a perfect platform for team collaboration, allowing team members to quickly access data, updates, progress-related information, and other information. Trello, a well-known project management tool, has a simple interface and features like lists, boards, cards, and more. It supports third-party applications like Google Drive and Jira. A mobile app allows users to access projects from anywhere. Trello is a powerful tool that helps us keep track of our work and collaborate efficiently.

Organization - I just have to add all my tasks and Trello sorts them by their due date. I can add different lists (columns) and quickly move the cards to where I want them. This helps me track my progress for every assignment. Reminders - With every card I add to my list, I can set a deadline and Trello will automatically show yellow/red colors once they are due soon. I also get notified through my phone and laptop. Collaboration - Since I can invite others to join my board, I can easily assign tasks to my teammates, leave comments, and tag them. Convenience - Trello allows us to add attachments, labels, lists, descriptions, etc. to every card. This prevents me from being stressed because navigating all the documents related to a task is now easier!

I use it personally for school, especially since I take a lot of courses… it helps me keep track of all my assignments and their due dates. I also use it professionally for my non-profit consulting so it’s really easy to coordinate with my team and follow up on deliverables. I honestly can’t think of a scenario where you can’t use Trello cause it literally is very helpful!

Since my work group suggested Trello as an alternative to managing the work we've been doing, our productivity and efficiency have undoubtedly increased. I can keep track of the major aspects of our projects, whether there has been a change, if there is a new objective, or if a prior one has been solved. It is extremely beneficial to keep everything organized.

I use Trello regularly to keep track of tasks at my job, in my company and in my personal space. I love how easy it is to create/remove tasks and move them around. I keep track of passwords, to-do lists and tasks on Trello. A fantastic feature of Trello is to easily add collaborators. Private boards can be created so different teams have different access. Trello provides a beautiful and sensible space for work delegation and interaction. I cannot imagine keeping track of things effectively without this platform.

Trello is well suited for task management and for teams to track the progress of a project. Personally I use it for to-do lists and capturing of password and usernames as well as important private details, like access codes. Trello is well suited as a secure place with the option of private boards.

Perhaps it is not well suited for onboarding by itself. Teams would beed discussion which are easier in-person/online. Thereafter one can onboard and follow tasks on Trello quite easily.
