We are in the process of implementing TIBCO Clarity presently as part of our Data Governance suite. Once fully implemented, it will predominantly be used by the Data Governance team to correct issues with data.

- Syntax to create rules requires additional/extra knowledge that may not exist in an organization
- Requires quite a bit of setup for rule logic
Likelihood to Recommend
Clarity is well suited to address issues with data integrity, where you want to maintain formatting for fields from various sources. While it can be used to address issues with data impacting departmental use (ex: a field must be set to a particular value based on other field values, and if this is not the case then a business unit may be impacted), the amount of time required to setup the logic is cumbersome. As such, we leveraged TIBCO Data Virtualization to deal with these scenarios.
