TrustRadius Insights for Tellennium - Management of Things (MoT) are summaries of user sentiment data from TrustRadius reviews and, when necessary, third party data sources.
Pros
Comprehensive Data Management: Several users have praised Tellennium for its comprehensive data management capabilities. They state that the platform provides them with a clear understanding of their telecom spend and enables them to make realistic projections and budgetary estimates.
Efficient Invoice Organization: Reviewers appreciate Tellennium's ability to organize large amounts of data created by multiple invoices from different carriers. This feature saves them significant time and effort by making the data easily accessible and searchable.
Billing Dispute Management: Many users find it beneficial that Tellennium manages billing disputes on their behalf. This relieves them of this responsibility, allowing them to focus on technology issues while ensuring timely resolution of any discrepancies.
We use Tellenium Management of Things to compile and consolidate our monthly invoicing to simplify our bill processing, audit our carrier usage to minimize extraneous and unnecessary services and manage billing disputes and circuit failure issues. Before engaging with Tellenium MoT, we often had carrier services shut down due to a lack of payment since we did not have any dedicated resources to stay on top of the hundreds of monthly carrier bills we get. We were not efficient at shutting down unused services, nor following up with carriers' open circuit issues.
Pros
Manage invoice processing
Providing a dashboard with a drill-down ability to access detailed invoice and cost information for any and all of our carriers.
Following up on Billing disputes and saving us tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars annually
Holding weekly review meetings to review any and all open carrier issues and concerns
Cons
It is a pleasure working with our Tellenium MoT account team. They are extremely responsive and helpful. I find no deficiencies in their functionality.
Likelihood to Recommend
Tellenium MoT has found services that were not canceled, brought these to our attention, and submitted the cancels on our behalf saving us lots of dollars.
We
experienced difficulties capturing and monitoring our telecom accounts after
the separation from our parent company. We were paying too much for services
that were clearly defined in our contracts as having set rates, paying for
phone lines that had been inactive for a long time, and paying late penalties
on a regular basis. Legal had signed our contracts, but we paid the invoices
without knowing what was stipulated in them, and our procurement team lacked
the time to investigate and review every account. When Tellennium was brought
on board, they did a fantastic job of cleaning up the data. They also provide
recommendations, conduct audits, and even provide reporting. Within the first
year of working with Tellennium , we were able to secure $200k in savings in
telecom accounts.
Pros
Clear communication
Providing recommendations
Audit telecom accounts
Cons
Need to provide more reporting capabilities
Need to improvement on the portal
Likelihood to Recommend
Last year, we closed one of the sites. Tellennium was able to capture all of the unused lines, and they assisted with line verification and billing follow-up to make sure we are not charged further.

Our organization originally partnered with Tellennium to do a One Time Audit and decided after the audit to move to their ongoing Enterprise Management Solution. We use Tellennium to manage all of our telecom-related invoices. We previously were trying to manage multiple different telecom vendors with only a few employees overseeing the accounts and lines weren't getting billed appropriately or canceled so we were paying for services that weren't needed.
Pros
Easy to use MoT Dashboard
Provides us one inventory location of all telecom services.
Timely responses to our questions
Cons
We are pretty satisfied with the service so far, a few hiccups in the first month of "go-live" but nothing major

We are a 3 (in the process of adding a 4th) hospital system with 20+ office provider locations. We have to use multiple different vendors (landlines, internet, wireless) to accommodate all of our needs and it is hard for just a few people to oversee the hundreds of lines. With Tellennium MoT, we are able to clearly see all of our information in one place instead of logging into each vendor portal.
My organization currently uses Tellennium to pay all telecom-related invoices. Previously, all invoices were paid through Oracle and the telecom group did not review charges for services. Now that Tellennium handles that piece, we have easy access to invoices and the related information. In addition, the Management of Things portal has provided the organization with a comprehensive inventory of telecom services per location, which was badly needed. Additionally, we can now compare actual provide more in-depth analysis on invoices and billing.
The representatives I work with with are top-notch as well. Any requests or changes made on our end are completed very quickly and efficiently. We were assigned an analyst to find and present billing recommendations that saved us thousands in the first year. The rare mistake is owned and corrected immediately by their team. Tellennium offers great customer service and everyone I've worked with thus far is very responsive and helpful.
Pros
Tweaking the portal to fit organizational needs
Fantastic customer service
Providing recommendations for organizational savings
Cons
Employee turnaround on our dedicated team could be improved
The ticketing system has some bugs
Likelihood to Recommend
Our organization is fairly large with hundreds of locations. Tellennium does a good job of handling a company our size and we rarely have to wait longer than 24 hours for any requests or changes.
I believe television services and mobility are add-on services. Without adding these services, Tellennium isn't a true one-stop TEM provider. They have been helpful for invoices that have out-of-scope services on invoices with in-scope services. But without the add-ons, we still have invoices in two systems.

We started with Tellennium the early part of the last decade to help us control our sprawling phone costs.
Pros
identify opportunities to reduce costs by eliminating extraneous services
Identify cost reduction opportunities for existing services
help negotiate best price for new services
provide industry insight into terms of service and where to negotiate.
Can pay bills and provide upload to financial system.
Cons
We are actually pretty pleased with the service. Most of the issues we saw at the beginning have been rectified.

If you have lots of subscriptions to various services, for example a variety of voice and/or data providers, they do a great job. They can also handle mobile carriers, although we chose to handle this ourselves due to our own internal issues.
