  • It's licence is subscription based and also little expensive, user will need to take it's commercial licence if they want to use it for their business which will also need lots of documents for verification

Likelihood to Recommend

I would like to rate it 9 star as the need that we had with this platform was data sharing and team discussions for collaborations and project meetings, earlier organising these small events also took a lot of time because it needed physical presence of all the team members and managers of different departments but now these meeting are done virtually saving us a lot of time

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Basically in our education institution we use TeamViewer for performing remote training and other IT related issues, problems and assistance required by faculty as well as students. It makes it possible for the instructors to display what they are doing on their computers, teach the use of applications, and troubleshoot the learners’ problems in the process.

Pros

  • TeamViewer’s abilities to share the screen and to highlight on the Web conferencing platform improve the interactivity of the lessons.
  • This makes it possible for students to engage from different devices of their preference since it is compatible with different devices.
  • They include amongst them the possibility of recording sessions in order that interests students who want to follow lessons at their pace.

Cons

  • Pre-recorded content often run into issues regarding the synchronization of the recorded audio and the actions displayed on the classroom’s whiteboard or document camera, and this can be disruptive to the instruction process.
  • Several of these audio related problems if solved would enhance the quality of distance education delivery.

Likelihood to Recommend

As a web-based application, TeamViewer is ideal in education institutions that need to offer lessons online, supervise students, provide individual or group tutorials and lessons, and offer support to learners. Nevertheless, to institutions with limited IT equipment, the implementation could prove to prove a bit difficult in the setup and recurrent maintenance.

It's complete round solution for them who needs productivity and need to work remotely.

Since I work in a fashion industry i always keep monitoring the new trends and fashion going on all over the world. We deal in production and new designs concepts are always necessary to make your brand more unique and trendy, TeamViewer allows team to work remotely in other parts of all over country. We get different designs fabric material, our customers and client meeting are being done on this. I would say it's a very good suited software where we need to fetch data from different parts. For those people who normal office going and work can be done more manually they won't be needing this software much as I or my company do.

Best remote Support software. Easy to use

Rating: 6 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have been using this product in my organization for over 5 years. We mainly use it for screen sharing. Nowadays, many software allow screen sharing and give access to others for working, but earlier, "TeamViewer" was the only option. TeamViewer usually comes with major software like Accounting, Mechanical (used for CNC), and Graphic software. Whenever we face any issues with these, we use TeamViewer to connect with the support team. Most support teams prefer TeamViewer because of its unique features—it is easy to use and quickly connects with other computers. Support teams mostly use this software to fix system issues. It is one of the best software available.

Pros

  • TeamViewer do Remote troubleshoot and IT support efficiently
  • Its provide cross platform compatibility like mac user access windows.`
  • File transfer between systems
  • Screen Sharing
  • Remote access to cnc and vmc machines

Cons

  • TeamViewer is not worked well in slow network. We need to provide more setting to low bandwidth systems so they can use efficiently.
  • Mobile application is not upto the mark. I think company need to work on mobile application.
  • Expensive license like similar application anydesk price is lower, Integration issue with other applications its only with big businesses.
  • File transfer is complex and Bit slow in today's time

Likelihood to Recommend

1. TeamViewer is well suited for IT remote troubleshooting in organization. IT staff easily help other members via remote access. 2. For software training you can use TeamViewer where you can provide training via screen sharing. 3. We can help non technical person via TeamViewer.
Less appropriate - In low bandwidth are TeamViewer doesn't work well.
Now a days TeamViewer to work like google meet, zoom, teams. where you can easily screen sharing while conference call. It need to come with speed, accuracy, simple dashboard.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have used TeamViewer with a Business License for over 10 years for the simple purpose of connecting to and providing support for remote computers and servers. I have never used any of their available options for managing computers. I have had as many as 200 computers in my list that I have kept handy and can connect to easily whenever needed.

Pros

  • TeamViewer connects quickly
  • It behaves well when changing network settings remotely (and waiting for the connection to be re-established.
  • Maintains a low footprint on the system
  • Allows for personal password on the clients you are connect for super easy connectivity

Cons

  • When they updated from their Classic interface, the new interface was not very intuitive. It appeared as though they were going to force customers to change, however, they eventually added an option to stay in "Classic" mode.
  • Their renewal terms are tricky and border or predatory I feel. They want you to cancel within 28 days prior to renewal. If you do not, it is too late and they make you pay for another year whether you want their future services or not. While they are within their legal right to do this, it is a terrible setup for customers in my opinion. If anyone is considering TeamViewer services, make sure you are aware of this and look up the many unresolved cases at Better Business Bureau.
  • Their support can be slow in responding.

Likelihood to Recommend

TeamViewer is excellent for maintaining connectivity, however, I think other programs are probably a better fit for actually managing remote clients. I have installedTeam Viewer on many remote servers, and it's been very helpful to be able to access any of them quickly / remotely from any location. When connecting to some laptops remotely, I sometimes had a problem where, if the laptop was closed (but still turned on and running), sometimes the display of the laptop would not come through in TeamViewer. To fix, I figured out that I could install a virtual monitor on the laptop. Note that, with a Business License, you are only allowed to connect from three computers (unless you pay for more).

A fast and secure access system

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Among the capabilities of this tool I highlight the fact that it can be deployed in remote spaces, or even to give some kind of advice to new team members in our organization we use it for teamwork mainly to verify commands or processes without having to go to where the person is, just connect and we can chat and transfer files and even coordinate actions without communication is affected, is a practically necessary working tool in organizations.

Pros

  • When you need to transfer information quickly from one computer to another
  • When you need to view a process and you are not in the same place
  • To train in a more interactive way.

Cons

  • The first-time pairing system could be more complex.
  • Passwords could be more secure.
  • It could be a bit better known

Likelihood to Recommend

TeamViewer is a tool with functions that improve collaborative processes in organizations, with this I want to say that I consider it is a much more efficient tool in the hands of professionals, since in general it is not so necessary to have a system to access others as continuously as with this tool, and should also be used by professionals because if you do not have enough awareness can access unauthorized users to their personal system.

TeamViewer: Remote assistance made simple.

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We considered TeamViewer and other options such as LogMeIn and AnyDesk in our selection criteria for a Working from Home solution. Although these tools provide comparable fundamental capabilities, TeamViewer outperformed the others in terms of cross-platform operation and a more manageable user interface.

Pros

  • Named captions, which can easily be recognized from other cross-platform technologies, allow smooth remote access through different operating systems.
  • The interface for initiating a remote session directly supports transferring files between the local and remote hosts.
  • Rich remote viewing and controlling ability to support multiple monitors.

Cons

  • Now, it doesn’t work in fast network environments: sometimes, data is delayed during transfer.
  • There are a small number of ways that a user is allowed to change the interface on the device.
  • Some minor increases in difficulty with advanced functions of the application.

Likelihood to Recommend

TeamViewer stands out when urgent remote support needs arise, such as fixing production errors or offering simultaneous support to remote colleagues. Finding solutions is most beneficial to organizations that have spread their development teams across different locations or those that support different clients at various locations.

Teamviewer Remote Training Advances.

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

TeamViewer is a great tool that has been effective in our team’s hands. Its performance has been excellent, especially when the network conditions have been tested. Scheduling the sessions has remained effective in coordinating training, especially when we have participants in different time zones. Of note is that the mobile app has been particularly beneficial for ad hoc troubleshooting meetings.

Pros

  • TeamViewer can connect different devices and serve versatile production settings.
  • The inherent features, such as the integrated chat and file sharing, enable trainers and trainees to solve issues.
  • Share documents in real time as the training goes on.

Cons

  • There are some lags and different kinds of connection problems; during training sessions, for example, the audio might lag, which can ruin the training atmosphere.
  • Upon examination, the interface appears to lack aesthetics more conducive to the present timeline.
  • Screen sharing leads to degradation of the video quality.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is particularly effective in offering remote control solutions to production line operators who may have technical issues. It is ideal for virtual tours of new equipment to be integrated into the firm. Furthermore, it is not so effective where a large group of employees is trained and active participation in interactions is required.
