TeamViewer is one of the essential tools we use in our project for remotely controlling our clients' systems to install or update software. It is very critical to take control of other systems remotely. TeamViewer security controls provide confidence to our clients as well as those to whom we provide our services.

Pros

  • Easy access.

Cons

  • Latency can be optimised.
  • Security controls sometimes go over the top and feel too much.
  • Cursor moments overlap.

Likelihood to Recommend

TeamViewer is an industry standard, widely used remote access tool with excellent security controls. It eases our work instead of explaining how to do the installation. We can install using TeamViewer. Following the evolution of remote work culture, TeamViewer has become an essential tool for all installations, both in the current market and beyond.

TeamViewer is very useful when a adimistrator is accessinvg the remote system for installing a heavy software or patch. It is a heavy work to end users to understand the complete process and do things by him self. However, with TeamViewer remote it can be done in a shorter span of time by expert.

A must have Software Extremely well Remote collaborator TeamViewer

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The most important use case of using TeamViewer is that its used as a remote access and support solution to enhance productivity, streamline IT support, and enable secure collaboration across all our locations it has also shown some really good features in support to improve Productivity and efficiency such as Remote Workforce which helps employees of our Organization working from home or remote offices need IT assistance without physical access as well as TeamViewer allows IT teams to remotely troubleshoot issues, install software, or configure systems. we have been using it since 2020 and no issues reported so far with it and it does what it promises.

Pros

  • Remote access support
  • Instant connections for a detailed and fast resolutions
  • Secure External Collaboration

Cons

  • Unattended access
  • latency
  • Bugs, glitches

Likelihood to Recommend

The thing is that the Team viewer is a gamechanger when it comes to High-Security Enterprise Environments as it provides a high secured platform and as well as TeamViewer offers robust encryption, its history of vulnerabilities (e.g., CVE-2020-13699) and phishing risks make it less ideal for highly regulated industries like defense or banking, where stricter alternatives (e.g., VPNs or zero-trust solutions) may be preferred . Secondly the pricing is again a gamechanger as its always user friendly no matter what the use case is they always have something great to offer. been using it since 2020 and we feel that they are one of the best in this segment .

Provides amazing platform for remote control and troubleshooting.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Using TeamViewer, we are able to do multiple tasks with one platform. Installing or uninstalling software with admin rights is too easy with this software. During work-from-home days, it is very difficult to manage things like application installation with admin rights. Using this, we are able to do our work more easily via remote desktop, and it helps us manage system utilities.

Pros

  • Easy to use and handle.
  • Remote control to help troubleshooting.
  • Manage team collaboration.

Cons

  • Sometimes I faced slowness issue.
  • Everything is good.
  • Nothing negative fulfilling our all the requirements.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is a well-organized tool for managing systems utility with remote control. It also provides better setup as compared to other software. Using this, we are able to troubleshoot issues, manage application security easily, and customize things as per business requirements.

Quick Assistance, Quick File Transfer make Customers Happy!

Rating: 10 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use TeamViewer to log into our customers' desktop computers to troubleshoot problems with our software and to activate additional licenses for users. We also use it to download and/or upload documents or system updates. We are able to have multiple techs logging in simultaneously to assist the customer.

Pros

  • It makes it simple to upgrade license counts for our customers. The License Key is a 26-digit number and it's much easier to do ourselves than read the number and walk a customer through it.
  • It makes it easy to share files with a user with a quick upload.
  • It allows multiple people to log into the same session with extra assistance is required.

Cons

  • The only issues I have ever come across is when I try to log into a customer's computer and I receive a pop up that my version is a newer version and it does not allow a connection.

Likelihood to Recommend

My company has used TeamViewer for over 15 years and it has been tried and true. It was originally adopted by the customer support team and sales team and it has been a true benefit to the company for quick customer assistance. We no longer have to talk a customer through troubleshooting.

Very happy with TeamViewer use every day

Rating: 9 out of 10
Incentivized

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am an everyday user who needs to access any of several dozen machines at different clients for OS or app configuration, end-user support via screensharing, and file transfers. This allows for faster response times to fix problems, install new apps, and provide support. As a software developer, I also use it to access machines for testing software I write that I cannot test on my development machine.

Pros

  • File transfer
  • Screensharing with an end-user
  • Recording mouse and keyboard movements for later use in app troubleshooting

Cons

  • Stop nagging me to improve security every time i access a report machine
  • Make ALL features available in the "old" interface with equivalent functions in the "new" interface. Examples: full display of machine notes, editability of machine notes
  • Offer file compression on recorded sessions

Likelihood to Recommend

Remote unattended access works as expected with only minor complaints.
