Tableau allows my team and the entire company to visualize important KPIs that are key to reaching business goals.

I use Tableau every day to check performances and report them back to the different stakeholders in the company, as well as filling the forecast.

Tableau is great for visualizing time series and being able to compare YoY, QoQ, WoW or DoD, as well have having the chance to switch between rates and row numbers.

• negative impact: granularity of data - if the dashboard needs to have a lot more data (like millions of rows) to be used to deep dive, the dash lag

We just recently switched to Tableau Cloud for our organization-wide reporting. Tableau Cloud has allowed to create various reports and utilized data from multiple data sources throughout our organization. We can easily create reports, add visuals and share reports to our end users. It is very easy to set permissions and create user groups to allow reports to be viewed by certain users.
