I use Sprout Social to schedule all of my social media posts. We have 11 channels, and Sprout helps me keep things organized, not only through the duplication tool but also by viewing everything from the calendar view. I also use the Reports so much because we report our analytics to our board once a month.
Pros
Scheduling
Reporting
Duplication
Cons
Reporting could be a little easier to figure out. I wish post-Reach would be included. I have to go to my actual channels to see that number.
Inbox messaging gets a little confusing.
Paid Performance - I've had lots of trouble with trying to connect all of my ad campaigns. I reached out to Sprout support, and their suggestions did not help.

I would recommend Sprout for a colleague with multiple channels to manage and report. The scheduling tool makes it so easy to keep everything in check and order.
I use Sprout Social to plan and publish social media content on behalf of my organization. I also use Sprout Social Premium Analytics and Social Listening, I use these tools to curate content based on data and create a proactive approach to communications on the individual platforms that the organizations uses. These tools have helped to improve the engagement and reach of our external communication efforts and proved a positive ROI.
Pros
Keeps content organized
Easy to use
Provides in-depth real-time data on performance
provides listening sentiment around the organizational brand
Cons
The tags could be located across different views on the platform itself
organizational branding could be added to the reporting function
selecting different copy for different platform within the individual posts

I find Sprout Social to be one of the easiest most user friendly planning and organizational platforms for social media. The reporting functions are very helpful when determining best performing content and providing recommendations for future content. The Employee Advocacy tool is something my organization has started using and is also a very intuitive and user friendly experience. Overall a great tool.
Sprout is great for our social media publishing needs. From planning ahead, to collaborating as a team--all can be done in Sprout. It is also great for analytics to see what is working and what needs to be adjusted.
Pros
Publishing
Scheduling
Analytics
Social Listening
Cons
Being able to edit posts across the board after publication
Adding an uncheck all button (social profiles selected) when trying to schedule a post on the mobile app.

It is fantastic for scheduling out posts across all your various social media pages. My team likes to collaborate and Sprout makes that as easy and problem free as possible. I also absolutely love the analytics and the eye friendly way you can prepare them for presentations, etc.
Scheduling and measuring social media at multiple organizations and seeing how those organizations stack up against competitors. I also teach college students how to use Sprout Social as part of a class on Marketing Platforms and Systems.
Pros
Scheduling posts across platforms and clients
Creating workflows for post reviews
Measuring and benchmarking pertinent social-media metrics
Cons
Listening needs refinement
Workflows need a better notification process
A greater variety of analytics would be welcome (though I understand the limitations)

IMO it's best for an organization that has a lot of different people working on social media. They could be in different departments or just different members of the same team responsible for different types of posts (corporate, e-commerce, branding, etc.). I don't think it's as vital for a one-person team working solely within the Meta platform, for instance, especially if they're less concerned with detailed analytics.
Sprout Social is used for my company's social media planning and scheduling. We have used other scheduling platforms in the past and Sprout is hands down the best software out there. I've had cases where other platforms aren't as user-friendly and as efficient as my experience with Sprout Social. I've noticed that with Sprout Social, it's "best time to post" based on industry engagements is one of my absolute favorite features, and will be the very reason why I stay with this platform for the foreseeable future.
Pros
Best Time To Post Feature - based on industry engagement
Rescheduling feature is easy to use, calendar view it's a simple drag and drop
Instagram grid planner is a huge game changer!
Cons
I don't love that our sent stories shows up in our "posted" calendar view. I wish I could filter that out

I have used other software in the past, but they were not as efficient in our social media planning. There was a lot of clicks to get one simple task done. I feel that Sprout Social has a really good grasp on the efficiency of social media planning, and it's really helpful to know when the best times to post, that feature is probably my favorite feature.
I use Sprout Social as a social media publishing and analyzing tool. It helps me streamline social media management, including responding to comments. I have a team member who also uses it, making it easy for us to understand what we're doing and plan.
Pros
Social. media management.
Social media publishing.
Social media analytics.
Cons
Some analytics aren't available unless you go premium.
They have a tag system to help you better organize and analyze. I wish it were color-coded.

Sprout Social is a very easy-to-use, intuitive tool. It makes social media management a breeze, and the analytics are good, too. I like that the company is constantly adding features to help make things easier. For instance, it seemed like just as we were saying how we wish Sprout Social would allow us to do an Instagram collab post, a week later, it was available!
I use Sprout Social to manage social media campaigns, focusing mainly on leveraging Employee Advocacy to drive revenue without relying on the company’s ad spend. The platform addresses a key challenge by offering multiple tools to boost engagement and outreach, all within a single, streamlined interface. One of Sprout Social's standout features is the ability to connect numerous accounts, customize posts for each platform, and schedule them to go live simultaneously—a huge time-saver for efficient campaign management.
Pros
For each account, customize posts for each platform, and schedule them to go live simultaneously.
Employee Advocacy via Sprout Social has integrated AI assistance for captions. Usually I would generate one suggested caption for employees to use/stem from when re-sharing to their socials. But now, EA message ideas display in random orders to better promote the full range of content.
Sprout Social has made the option to gamify the sharing concept quite easily with Employee Advocacy. Using the Leaderboard feature, employees can earn points in Employee Advocacy. Customized point values ensure you know how to climb the Leaderboard and start some friendly competition.
Cons
I would like for Personal Instagram Accounts to be able to integrate with Sprout Social's Employee Advocacy platform. You are able to connect personally accounts to Sprout Social itself, which is great, but for employee re-sharing internal stories, this is not possible unless it is with a Business Instagram account.
I would like for the left hand tool bar to be more user friendly. There are so many tools and settings that are available, and I would like for it to be simplified in a way that makes it less cluttered.
An improvement can be made with the Sprout Social Mobile App. The user friendliness of the app does not allow as much autonomy as the regular webpage.
Likelihood to Recommend
I use Sprout Social to efficiently manage social media campaigns across multiple platforms. If you're looking for a tool to streamline and organize multiple accounts across various social networks, I highly recommend Sprout Social. However, if you're only managing a single profile on one platform, Sprout Social may not be necessary.
I am a social media manager who uses Sprout daily to schedule social posts and analytics reports. Sprout helps me so that I can batch schedule weeks of posts at a time for my roster of clients. The analytics feature helps me report learnings to clients to inform them how social posts perform.
Pros
Interface makes scheduling posts easy, similar to scheduling in-app.
Great tagging system to target specific posts to look at.
Accurate analytics reports.
Cons
With social media constantly changing, sometimes Sprout's features are not the most up-to-date.
Scheduling for TikTok is not indicative of how we actually post TikToks in-app.
Data analytics have been deprecated due to platform limitations.
Likelihood to Recommend
Sprout is well suited for a social media manager juggling a wide roster of clients. Sprout allows you to schedule weeks or even months' worth of social posts across all different platforms. It is extremely reliable for scheduling posts; I never have to worry if a post gets up the way I intended to get it up. It is also great for reporting key analytics to clients. I do wish there were more analytics at times, but for high-level data, it does the job.
We used Sprout Social to monitor and manage our social media presence online and across various platforms. It helped us schedule our content, monitor comments, engage with our audiences, and also helped analyze our social performance to improve it. Sprout Social made it easier to precisely analyze and improve our social versus other platforms with many channels.
Pros
Effective at scheduling content (content management).
Helped us analyze our socials' performance.
Helped us grow our social channels.
Cons
User interface could be more "user friendly"
Hard to customize reports the want you want to.
Likelihood to Recommend
Sprout Social is a good platform to use when measuring social impact and engaging with your users/customers. When scheduling/managing multiple social campaigns on various social platforms (it connects well to those platforms). If your company is smaller, it may not be worth using.
