Allie of All Trades uses Slack for both internal and client communication. Slack helps replace multiple emails and texts with organized, real-time communication. We love that it can help us stay organized between clients, add special emojis, and integrate with different tools we already use. Slack makes our business better.

We love having multiple channels to organize different clients.
We love integrating Slack with fun things like being able to add Gifs.

Cons
One challenge we deal with is how quickly messages disappear on the free plan, particularly when handling larger projects.
We struggle with searching certain items in the menu and wish the filters worked better.
Threads are not very user friendly and often times get clunky. I wish that they were more user friendly.
Likelihood to Recommend
As a service-based business, Slack helps us separate clients and projects to keep communication focused and things easy to find.
Where Slack tends to fall short is in storage and messages that are left after 90 days. This can be difficult when working on big projects that take a longer time to complete.
