Scratchpad SLAPS!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Ease of use for pipeline management. It helps me stay on top of all my opps, without having to go from salesforce tab to salesforce tab. I can also filter and sort deals so that I constantly have a pulse on my pipeline. It's incredibly user-friendly and keeps my boss happy. Before scratch pad I never knew how to start my day and had to keep everything in a note book. Now with scratchpad everything is conveniently in one place. I have an extra window to jot down my last comms with the lead without having to look at a contact card, a dialer, or a notebook. It's super super helpful and I am so happy that someone recommended it to me.

Pros

  • Pipeline management.
  • Tech consolidation
  • Organization.

Cons

  • Sorting your high priority deals or highlighting them.

Scratchpad is a much more user friendly way to interact with Salesforce for some daily activities

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I and some others on my team use Scratchpad as a more convenient and quick way of interacting with our opportunities from Salesforce. I found that Salesforce lightning is actually very slow, and it seems that using Scratchpad is actually a much faster process. It's also a lot easier to customize and modify my reports, due to Scratchpad's interface just being so much more user-friendly.

Pros

  • Reviewing Accounts or Opportunities
  • Adding notes
  • Saving workflows for frequent Salesforce processes

Cons

  • I'd love to be able to do even more of what I do in Saleforce in Scratchpads interface.
  • It would be nice to be able to update fields that require a workflow in Salesforce via Scratchpad

Return on Investment

  • It saves me time
  • It saves me frustration of working within Salesforce for the little things
  • It's got a great free tier for a Customer Success use case.
  • It's not the best solution for everything. It's not a Swiss army knife. But what it does, it does best.
