Highly robust and scalable SAP centric integration suite powered with AI

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

So in our company we mainly use SAP Integration Suite as a centralized platform to connect different business applications with main focus on integrating it with SAP S/4HANA cloud. We also integrated it with various third party tools like servicenow and salesforce for better work experience overall. It mainly focuses on Lifecycle management of employee data and P2p automation at this point.

Pros

  • Best thing about this is it does seamless integration with other SAP application like SAP cloud and Ariba which makes the working experience much more smoother and efficient.
  • It also provides so many pre built integration options like APIs and mappings with vast library of integration flows.
  • It also supports event driven architecture which is solid and helps in automatically updating the downstream applications.

Cons

  • One of the downside I observed is its steep learning curve for new users which can be bit overwhelming at first for some users.
  • Also the cost and licensing process is somewhat complex to begin with.
  • I also felt it could be optimized for high volume working scenarios as it lacks some of the features currently.

Return on Investment

  • From financial perspective our company achieved almost 30% reduction time in development time spent in integration process.
  • Also the data accuracy and the process automation has been enhanced and errors due to data has been reduced almost 40%.
  • Also the downtime period of some of our major services has been cut to 40%.

Solid Product mainly for SAP-Centric organisations

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Making data/ processes available outside of SAP systems, or any system actually. It’s an enabler for the organisation, making sure we have consistency in our core processes by exposing them in a consistent way. Another powerful thing is the enabler of events throughout the stack. By leveraging events, we are able to almost realtime inform business stakeholders of changes and triggers within our processes, streamlining other processes

Pros

  • Point to point integration
  • API management
  • Trade Partner Management
  • Events management
  • Scalability

Cons

  • GenAI
  • Scripting
  • IDE generically (web based)

Return on Investment

  • Made us change our strategy
  • Enabled us to create integrations quicker
  • Way easier to get access to SAP processes
