Business Problems Solved
SalesLoft is highly recommended by users as a valuable tool for generating positive results and maximizing sales efforts. Users have found SalesLoft to be particularly helpful in reaching their target audience and streamlining communication efforts through cadencing. This allows sales teams to track the success of calls and emails, ensuring that prospects don't fall away or get lost in the shuffle. SalesLoft not only minimizes time spent on tracking and emailing prospective clients but also provides organizational tools to create and manage specific outreach campaigns. It saves significant time and effort by automating tasks such as dialing, emailing, call logging, and disposition standardization for sales departments. Users praise SalesLoft for its efficiency in managing workflow, hitting call targets, and targeting the correct contacts. The software also facilitates collaboration among team members and integrates well with other CRM platforms like Salesforce. Overall, SalesLoft addresses key business problems such as maximizing time, providing data insights, simplifying processes, enhancing collaboration, and improving the entire sales experience from prospecting to engagement with customers.
Salesloft is one of the most important tools I rely on daily to get my job done. On my previous account, we used spreadsheets and M365 CRM, where we needed to manually import/export everything, which really took too much of my time. Salesloft helps me do my work efficiently by automating calls and emails. I can prioritise my calls and emails by creating what we all call "Cadences" or a sequence and then just let it run. I can separate the most important leads, create multiple workflows, and run the most important cadence and then the rest. It's awesome for making sure no lead gets forgotten, and the dialer feature saves me time since I'm not manually logging every single call.
My only minor complaint is that in the last update, they removed the feature on the main dashboard where I can see how many calls and emails I've done separately and in real-time. I can now only see how many tasks and suggested actions or goals for the day. But this is only a small thing. Salesloft helps me by staying organised and keeps me from dropping the ball.
Pros
It is easy to set up a cadence or a sequence for each group of leads.
Calls and emails are organised and automated which helps me save time.
Helps me follow through and help me not to forget tasks.
Cons
Bring the real-time number of calls and emails made for the day from the dashboard. It helps me motivate to do more.
Create an option to reschedule the remaining tasks on a cadence for a different time separately. Let say just Cadence1 will reschedule and Cadence2 will remain active.

Salesloft helps me import hundreds of outbound leads in just a few simple steps to a cadence or sequence I created to keep them organised. It also helps me not to forget a task. When a new inbound lead comes in, it helps me just add it to an existing cadence and immediately contact them with a personalised, multi-step follow-up plan. If the prospect isn't a good fit right now, I can nurture and reschedule it in the next 6-12 months.
I work as a business development representative? We use it to monitor our emails how many we sent and the status of the email so whether it was opened or replied to, we also use it to keep track of every activity with every contact so that we have a log of everything.
Pros
Email tracking
Timely follow ups with cadences
Cons
Can have more automation
Can have an easier way of importing contacts without having to attach an Excel, like a manual input or something

it is best suited for prospecting and leads that aren’t qualified, but I don’t think it is very well Suited for existing customers.
We use Salesloft to boost sales pipeline generation. Through automated, multi-touch outreach sequences we can engage with multiple prospects simultaneously and effectively. The platform also provides valuable insights into response times and detailed sales performance analytics, by cadence or email, helping us optimize our outreach strategy and improve overall sales efficiency.
Pros
Automated sequences
Email template selection
Hot leads identification
Follow up tasks
Cons
Automated replies
Email opens and clicks recognition
Changes mid-sequence
Company information

Salesloft is an effective platform for conducting outreach to multiple prospects; however, it has limited integration capabilities, which restricts the depth of information typically available through a CRM. Additionally, it offers limited company insights, making it more difficult to personalize outreach sequences. When connecting on LinkedIn, the platform also requires a message to be included, which is not always desirable.
We use Salesloft for activity management, calendar scheduling and contact management. We started using it to streamline communication and make logging client communication easier. We rolled this tool out to our whole sales team.
Pros
calendar management through open calendar link with rules set by the user
availability sharing with calendar links for automatic scheduling
easy microsoft work integration for logging communication
Salesloft mobile App is easy to use for communication management
Cons
the Salesloft homepage is overwhelming for me and hard to follow
the AI recommendations aren't taking into account for companies using multiple platforms
can't use availablity function for any users without a Salesloft account

I find it to be the best resource for scheduling calls with clients. Specifically when the call includes multiple people using Salesloft, it's so simple and easy to use to send open times to client and then to be able to send active links to the client where with one click the calendar invite shows up on my calendar? it's the best most efficient tool I have in my toolbelt at the moment.
When it comes to logging, it's also simple but I wish I could add a contact to SL from the Microsoft integration.
I used Salesloft for email cadences, snippets, and templates. Mostly used for campaigns to reach people in mass.
Pros
cadences
snippets
templates
Cons
not too sure of where it can improve as im sure it had more features than i used.

The Salesloft tool is well suited in helping account manager reach a large audience with minimal effort. It also does a good job of providing insight into how many times emails have been viewed, or links from them have been clicked. Also does a good job of providing overarching analytics from email campaign perspectives so you can run A and B tests to see which cadences are most effective.
Mainly within our SDR organization for structured outbounding and cadenced follow up from inbound leads. We are also now rolling out more of the Conversation Recording features for coaching purposes, AI analysis, and more detailed data gathering and follow up.
Pros
Flagging of keywords and topics for coaching
Setting up an easy to follow cadence and structure for consistent outreach
Integrates well with CRM (Salesforce) with flexibility in mapping custom fields as needed
Cons
The varying definitions of ownership (Owner vs. CRM owner) sometimes leads to confusion by users.
Does not always recognize record deletion from SFDC and translate to
Building automations would be nice to have a more visual view of the rules and flow (flowchart, if/then chart, etc)

Salesloft has been a great tool to keep our SDRs organized and accountable for their activities, and seeing the results that are being driven by them. We have found it less useful for our Account Management team, as they already have regular cadences set up and don't like having the rigidity of the reminders.
We use Salesloft to automate our prospecting cadences and gain insights on how each cadence is performing. This gives us deeper insights into what is working and helps us identify best practices. Our Producers that use Salesloft have deeper insights into the business and can pivot when messaging is not working. In addition we use it for managing events and sending market updates.
Pros
Deeper Analytics
Saves time to run a cadence
Saves time scheduling meetings
Cons
Adding the Segue Microsoft font as an option for email

Salesloft is great for managing cadences and nurture campaigns. Managing events and sending mass updates.

We use Salesloft to create cadences for our BDR's - this way, they have visibility into tasks that need completion as well as which leads to prioritize.
One feature that I love with Salesloft is the "hot lead" functionality. Those leads almost always convert to a meeting booked.
Salesloft is easy to use. The analytics are helpful for me as a BDR leader. I am able to see how many calls, emails, etc. are being sent out. I am also able to A/B test messaging.
Activities get synced into Salesforce, giving the business visibility into which accounts are being worked. I also like the call recording feature. It lets me coach my team!
I can't imagine not having Salesloft! It's essential for my team's success.
Pros
Call recording
Cadence creation
Template creation
A/B testing of messaging
Cons
It would be nice to have local numbers for global BDR's

If you have an SDR or BDR team, you should invest in Salesloft!
We looked to onboard Salesloft for a few reasons: increase visibility into quality metrics of the SDR team, improve outreach to our prospects and be able to have a more data driven response to our go to market strategy.
Pros
Salesloft enables us to outreach at scale.
Salesloft helps us identify our warmest, most buyer ready prospects to streamline our outreach.
Salesloft helps us to identify quickly areas to course correct and provides the necessary data to do that.
Salesloft also surfaces data around outreach so we can ensure we are targeting our team with sensible KPIs that connect to our business goals.
Cons
I am really excited to try the new Plays update that is in Beta. We use plays regularly but I have longed for more granular automation. Having spoken with a member of the product team I am excited to see this improvement.
Salesloft reporting is great for metrics it considers important but I wish you could see what is being included in those reports in case we need to edit the way we log stuff in our CRM to make the reporting as accurate as possible.
At the moment you currently cannot use the SMS functionality if you are messaging UK and Europe based prospects.

It was a game changer bringing in Salesloft. We use Microsoft Dynamics as our CRM and many of my reps had found it difficult to use the reporting as well as make sure they were surfacing their best leads at the right time. Once we implemented Salesloft we saw a 200% increase in productivity and were able to make some corrections around messaging and the type of outreach we were focused on.
We use Salesloft as our primary sales engagement platform. In the past we have used others but no tool has been able to empower our team as much as Salesloft, it allows us to run multiple cadences in parallel, without missing a beat. As a result, we dont have to sacrifice on quality OR volume
Pros
Cadence Automation
Call & Email Tracking
AI-Powered Insights
Cons
Pipeline management
Remove Rhythm, we live only in the Cadence Tab
Pop-out dialer

Salesloft is well suited for any company trying to sell a technical product or any product that has more than one ICP. The Cadence Automation with A/B testing allows you to test out different combinations so you can turn your outreach into a science instead of a blind guessing game
