Overview
Synthesised from 13 reviews | Last Published April 23, 2026
This product assessment synthesizes 13 recent reviews of RingEX across multiple dimensions to provide a comprehensive overview for prospective buyers. RingEX is primarily used as an organization's main phone system, facilitating both internal and external communications, with 11 of 13 reviewers confirming this use case. A notable strength lies in enabling remote work, cited by 5 reviewers, due to its unified platform accessible from various locations. The platform also delivers automation and efficiency gains, as highlighted by 11 of 13 reviewers. However, potential buyers should be aware of reported issues with customer support, mentioned by 3 reviewers, including unhelpful agents and unresolved tickets. Some reviewers, specifically 2 of 13, also noted limitations with integrations, particularly with platforms like MS Teams, and the phone system's functionality, especially concerning IVR and call queue options.

Provides automation and efficiency gains in business communication processes.
Offers positive customer service experiences, as reported by multiple reviewers.
Facilitates video meetings with useful features like screen sharing and planning tools.
Presents an easy-to-use interface and navigable dashboards.
Cons
Customer support can be problematic, with reports of unhelpful agents and unresolved tickets.
Integrations with other platforms, such as MS Teams, have limitations.
IVR and call queue functionalities of the phone system are limited or require expensive add-ons.
Potential for worsening support can negatively impact the overall return on investment.
Our company uses RingEX daily, and are completely satisfied with the customizability of the service. We are able to edit open/closed hours easily for holidays and days our business is closed. Calling support is never a hassle, and they have always been able to answer my questions fully and clearly within one call.
Pros
Customizability of company settings
Ability to set up multiple call queues and IVR Menus
Providing quality devices with minimal to no hardware issues
Cons
Having to upload a blank audio file rather than being able to just remove a welcome intro.
Intermittent call fwd failure (Could be user error)
Ease with setting up new call queues and settings
Likelihood to Recommend
Our company often has to change or update our settings to reflect changes, new hires, or closed dates / hours. RingEx has made it a fairly easy learning experience, and support has always been able to answer any questions I may have for them. I would highly recommend RingEx to a colleague.
We place outbound calls for both market research recruiting and business development. The system allows us to work remotely across the country from a single platform. We are particularly interested in the call recording feature as we have a need to transcribe our calls, and the playback feature makes this much easier than the outdated method we were previously using.
Pros
Call recording
Allows multiple callers from the same organization to share a caller ID
Easy to use dashboards
Excellent call logs and reporting features
Cons
I would like to be able to assign different callers different caller IDs rather than everyone sharing the same caller ID at all times. Because we place outbound calls on behalf of our clients, we occasionally have the need to temporarily assign a caller ID.
Likelihood to Recommend
RingEX is well suited for admins who need to monitor their users, revisit call recordings, pull call logs and reports, compare usage and manage multiple users from a single dashboard. I do not have experience with a larger team, but for a team of five the solution works very well.
We use RingEX (RingCentral) for our office's main phone line. This way, more than one of our team members can make and receive calls at the same time. Also, it ensures that we don't miss any client or customer calls, nor leave any text messages unanswered, because there is an opportunity for a number of us to answer.
Pros
Make outgoing calls
Queue incoming calls according to user customization
Customer Service/Support
Cons
Glitches and other things that happen to hinder the effectiveness of the platform beyond the user's control
A more user-friendly and customizable interface
A quicker method for contacting support, like a live chat from the app
Likelihood to Recommend
The only reason it's not a 10 are because of some minor glitches we've experienced in the past. However, RingEX (RingCentral) Support was great about helping us solve those problems. They were timely, understood the issue(s) easily, and offered multiple effective solutions without taking a very long time in the process.
We use it to contact people who contact us for help with an invention idea. It allows us to easily reach them by phone or text and also allows us to have video calls with our team members for meetings.
Pros
Quick calls.
Easy to text via the layout.
Reliable connectivity.
Cons
Some calls do not connect right away and require a redial, which can be time-consuming. When that happens, you don't know if it is ringing on the other end, as it is usually silent on my end.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is best for connecting with our clients in their preferred form of communication and for internal communication and video meetings with our team.

RingEX helps my company to receive and transfer calls. Since a lot of my team works remote it’s awesome to have one number a client can call and get access to the entire team. Most of our calls require support from other team members. RingEX allows us to create conference calls and to conduct meetings quickly.
Pros
Transfers calls
Create conference calls
Add others to conference calls
Cons
Connecting with Salesforce
Connecting with Webex
Connecting with Zoom
Likelihood to Recommend
RingEX allows businesses to have a toll free number for clients and the ability to record the calls for training and accuracy.
Our whole company is using RingEX, we previously had VOIP through our IT provider and they stopped supporting us so we had to move. We liked the flexibility and reliability of the system. We used to have outages all the time on our old system and we are enjoying not having a single outage on RingEX in the last year. The reliability was a huge selling point since we need to have working phones and fax. The flexibility of the system allows us to use physical phones where needed or Softphones for our computers or mobile devices. Our users love the ability to use their company extension from their mobile phone.
Pros
Reliability
Flexibility
Devices Supported
Technical Support

Cons

RingEX is a great solution if you want reliability and flexibility. We can trust that our phones are just going to work when we need them. Our users love the ability to be able to use the app on their mobile phones or computers when they are on the go. The ability to review the call logs makes troubleshooting very easy. The call quality is also very good.

Well, RingEX has great features for a reasonable price. The Desktop/app & Mobile App, when having (2) options are great but the updates activity on both do not always update streamlined. The meeting features are great except sometimes when I send a client an invite it will request they sign up, when they should be able to just click the browser and access without difficulty. Why this happens sometimes I don't know. Call hang up. I've been on a call, and it will just disconnect. This only happened 2x. Features, somehow my features just stop working like I never had them, call screening, automated assistant, and the calls ringing to the RingEX app. Instead, it would ring my phone directly,
We switched to RingEX when it became cost prohibitive to design a DR solution for our in-house phone system. Since switching to RingEX we have reduced our monthly spend on telecommunications plus gained DR capabilities that we never had before. implementing RingEX has greatly simplified our business continuity plan. In addition, we gained access to tools that we never had before such as incoming and outgoing faxes, messaging to our business numbers and telecommunications capabilities. productivity has gone up and the number of calls to the help desk has been completely eliminated. We could not be happier with our choice to switch to RingEX.
Pros
incoming and outgoing calls
incoming and outgoign faxes
collaboratoin/screen sharing
voice mail
Cons
blocking spam calls
Likelihood to Recommend
we implemented RingEX voice mail, SMS messaging and faxing and could nto have been happier. these were not even in our wish list but after implementing them we don't know how we could ever do with out these. We implemented the RingEX to Teams integration but it was unnecessary and we stopped using it.
RingEX is the main software solution that our company uses for communication purposes. It allows us to have several extensions for employees and also for main departments. Through RingEX, we can make phone calls, send SMS, and schedule video meetings, which makes the platform incredibly useful and easy to understand. As a Property Manager, I have worked with other sofware solutions in the past and all I can say is that this one is, without doubts, the best in the market.
Pros
Connects people.
Has an excellent interface.
Has an amazing customer service.
Cons
The interface should allow us to have a "Dark Mode".
Likelihood to Recommend
For phone calls, the interface runs perfectly. RingEX should have an "online" use option, for those cases were I don't have my computer handy but still need to access my messages or call log.
