"Redwood for Workload Automation" Redwood provides the workload automation solution for delivery as SaaS where it manages all services including automation upgrades, dependencies and patches. The software helps us focus more on automation by reducing manual efforts on the tasks. It has helped to set flexible load balancing and process on priorities across multiple applications. Redwood provides centralized control and support for on-premises, hybrid and pure cloud environments which is an excellent feature!

Pros

Redwood can automate anything seamlessly
Since it is designed as SaaS solution, 99% uptime is guaranteed
It provides flexible, pay-as-you-go, cloud based automation as service

Cons

It would be great if the customer service is improved for better response
The Software set up can be a little challenging to configure at initial stages.

In Redwood workload automation there is 5 most used action which is commonly used New, Edit, Delete, Export and refresh.
We can easily connect Redwood Workload Automation to SAP ABAP, Java, Oracle Application and People soft.

Redwood is so flexible, we can monitor all business process automation jobs from different system. Scheduling also very easy jobs can run in parallel and we can set limit also. The updated dashboard is useful when any jobs are skipped from schedules. The custom calendar feature helps us to run jobs only when we need that.

HI We use the Redwood Workload Automation in your organization for scheduling the SAP background jobs. Generally we can use the scheduling background jobs with sap application. But in SAP application level we don't have more options when compared with redwood automation. By using redwood automation tools we can keep many conditions like weekly, hourly, events , monthly.

Pros

Compared sap, If you schedule the jobs in redwood automation, it will take very less time with minimum steps.
The Redwood automation tool is user friendly.
It is very helpful to suspend background jobs during OS patching.

Cons

During day light saving, we need to change the date and time manually. If it can be automatically change based day light saving , very helpful for sap support team.
The tool should be extended, as it has lot of options, it is easy to deploy, manage. Integrate with Incident Management tools.
The Redwood Software can be a little difficult. So please try make as simple as possible.

The main positive things with redwood tools, we are not facing any memory issues.
By using redwood, we can increase the cost saving to our business clients
