We are able to use the analytics to search for possible problems before payroll is processed. The few errors we have had are not a result of payroll or HR missing something, it is the result of an employee not entering information quickly enough.

Improved workflow

We used to use ADP and it had multiple apps we had to download to do training and recruiting. Now we can do this all using Paycom.

We are using the system for Payroll, applicant tracking, expense reimbursement, scheduling and eventually benefits and performance reviews. The has put all the products into one system so we are not using multiple systems to navigate. It makes the process smoother and manageable.

Pros

  • Payroll/ time keeping
  • reporting
  • expense management

Cons

  • Applicant Tracking
  • some reporting

Likelihood to Recommend

We love the system. Payroll has been more manageable and puts the ownership on the employee. We've had great response from our employees on the ability to navigate the system.
the applicant tracking system - is not super easy to navigate, there are things that could be simplier to use.

Paycom Satisfied Customer Review

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Paycom in our organization for our payroll, background checks, drug screens, mileage and expense reimbursements. It is very easy user friendly and the support staff are amazing. I have never called them that they were not able to assist me with anything I needed. Always helpful and will to help with a smiling face.

Pros

  • Reports creation/setup and saving for repeated use
  • Customer service is amazing
  • automation of payroll start up for each pay period

Cons

  • Would like to see them offer invoicing services since we are a PEO
  • corporate visa credit card automation for transactions into Paycom

Likelihood to Recommend

We are a PEO and offer payroll and benefits to smaller organizations. If they offered invoicing it would save us time and money. It would not require a person to manually calculate and create invoices to send out to clients.

Limited Use - But Love Paycom

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As a church, we use Paycom as a payroll management company. Our church payroll is small, so I simply enter in whether employees are paid via salary or by the number of hours worked in the payroll period. The basic information is already set up, so it's a simple process.

Pros

  • Answering questions over the phone! They are excellent!
  • Always sticking with me until my problem is solved.
  • Always being available. If our representative is unavailable, someone from her team has always been available to help.

Cons

  • I often wish they were open for calls, during extended hours. This is a part time job, and I often work at night, but certainly understand I'm not in the majority.

Likelihood to Recommend

I truly can not think of anything I've ever been disappointed with. Only working at this job part-time, I often am down to the deadline wire to make our Wire Transfer. Fairly often, our bank says they'll send the wire within 10 minutes, but I get a very polite and gracious email, reminding me they haven't received the wire. I always apologize, but our rep - ... is simply The Best!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are nearing completion if implementing Paycom as our HR/Payroll provider. We hope to streamline much of the manual work we were doing previously. We are seeing good results so far. This is a big change for our organization, but we are continuing to see our staff buying into the new processes.

Pros

  • Real time changes to employee information.
  • Support as we learn the system
  • BETI is a wonderful tool.
  • Show Me How tool is an amazing way to help employees.

Cons

  • Initial training of staff and management. Slow down and clarify things.
  • Reporting - It is very robust but can be tough to work through to find what is needed.
  • More clarity when the implementation is beginning. It is important to be sure all of the necessary information is collected quickly and all forms are processed in a timely manner.

Likelihood to Recommend

Paycom is very user friendly and the app has proven to be very popular with our staff. The real time processing of information is proving to be invaluable to us. The support staff have worked very hard to get us up and running, but we have lost 3 key members during the implementation and that has slowed us down a bit.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We moved to Paycom from Ultipro (now UKG). The Ultipro system was not very intuitive and user friendly and there was a lot of manual changes that needed to be made in many areas of the program because the different modules didn't "talk to each other" We moved to Paycom to both save money and also found the program much more user friendly and time saving as information flows through all the different modules and makes data entry much easier as it is very "self driven" meaning it encourages the employee to enter most of their own information.

Pros

  • The system is very effecient for the most part. From application to hire, the process is very seamless.
  • Service is great. I like having a dedicated specialist that knows our business needs and how we use the system.
  • They are constantly making enhancements to improve the technology and are receptive to feedback

Cons

  • There are a few clunky processes still. (like the inability to edit email addresses in Applicant Tracking)
  • They are behind on enabling texts and push notifications
  • I would like to see more capability for the Employee Engagement platform. MyCom looks promising but is still new and needs some work.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think especially for [...]'s, it is as close to the ideal platform as you can get. We are a unique employer as we have staff with multiple jobs, at multiple branches and departments and have struggled with a platform that makes managing that easy. Paycom allows us to drill down specific job access by employee and has really made a lot of our processes easier.
