Increase Sales Rep Productivity

Rating: 7 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using it as a Sales Engagement tool. Essentially to send Outbound emails and for Cold calling. Managers can access analytics on call volume, connection rates, call duration, and outcomes. Coupled with call recordings, this provides invaluable data for coaching sales reps, refining techniques, and improving overall call effectiveness. Conversation intelligence features might even analyze calls for keywords, sentiment, and talk-to-listen ratios.

Pros

  • Email Automation
  • Cold Calling
  • Mini CRM
  • Email validation

Cons

  • Parallel Dialing
  • Power Dialing
  • Open rate and click rates accuracy

Likelihood to Recommend

Some tools allow you to have call scripts or key talking points readily available on-screen, ensuring you cover essential information and maintain consistency in your messaging. It's not the case with Outplay. So there's a downside.

Pre-record a generic voicemail message and drop it with a click if you reach an answering machine, saving significant time and allowing you to move to the next call quickly while still leaving a professional message. That's a good side.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The primary purpose is to send outbound emails to prospects. We generally create targeted sales campaigns to reach out to the prospects. Prior to Outplay, we were using another tool for outbound emails, but there were issues such as email bounces, integration issues, limited email campaign setup restrictions, Outplay has sorted these issues.

Pros

  • Option to set multiple campaigns
  • High delivery accuracy
  • Ease of integration

Cons

  • Sometimes email sequences pause in between
  • Once campaign is paused, it does not turn automatically
  • Standalone app would be better

Likelihood to Recommend

Outplay has eased my email outbound efforts, also I'm able to set up multiple campaigns in single time. Also there is no integration issue, the tool is highly reliable and simple to use. There are some areas which can be improved, but these are not major blockers, overall satisfied with the tool.
