This tool is perfect for any company looking to reduce workload and cut down cost used in manual information entry. also it's e-signature feature is a life safer expecially when dealing with customers order approvals.its also a great tool to generate complex forms and in-depth documentations within the shortest time.
Nintex Process Platform is primarily used for automation efforts and collaboration between various systems. We have other platforms that we leverage for this as well, such as Splunk's Phantom platform, and Nintex is used to keep many of the other platforms in sync.
Pros
Integration
Automation
Ease of use
Cons
Extended functionality
Documentation
API Integration
Likelihood to Recommend
Nintex Process Platform is a good start for many automation efforts, but teams will likely need additional tools beyond that.

It is being used across the whole organization, Europe-wide. The IT department in each country builds the Nintex Workflows and forms, and all the other business departments use it to submit forms or requests. It provides an easy, fast, and integrated way to build and make new solutions available in a centralized good-looking manner.
Pros
Enable non-programmers to create simple programs and webpages.
Provide a business approval mechanism, in light of a paperless initiative.
Assign tasks related to the form being submitted.
Integrated in Microsoft Sharepoint.
Strong community.
Easy drag & drop programming.
Cons
A whole lot of clicks in order to build something.
Limited dynamic changing of the form when being filled out.
Might not be the right tool for a real programmer.
Likelihood to Recommend
Nintex is well suited for organizations which already have Sharepoint highly embedded in the company culture. Adds functionality and easiness to building forms and digitizing processes. It is well suited to be used by non (or limited) IT people. It could be frustrating for programmers and "techy guys" which are used to greater freedom and to building things their own way.

We use the platform to support a variety of business processes across the enterprise. Workflows and forms are used for change management processes, incident report, and inspection processes.
Pros
Simple to build an application using forms designer and workflow engine.
Complex workflows with many steps.
Drop down dialogue boxes.
Cons
Simple connections to backend DBs.
Simplified software upgrades.
Multi-lingual capabilities.
Likelihood to Recommend
Straight forward workflows with simple radio and drop down boxes, text boxes. Dragging and dropping files into the forms can be a more involved process. Software upgrades have been difficult which has also created conflicts with other SharePoint applications. Multi-lingual forms create some challenges.

Nintex fills the gap of development not addressed by Sharepoint. Developers who start building solutions on Sharepoint very quickly realize the limitations of this platform and start looking for advanced workflow automation technologies. That's where Nintex fits in. We tried to roll out Nintex across the whole organization but it only got traction within a couple of departments.
Pros
Low learning curve.
Big focus on developer/user experience.
Multiple out-of-the-box connectors for third-party solutions like Office 365, Box and other apps mostly from the Microsoft ecosystem.
They really know how to build a user community.
Cons
Nintex is heavily dependent on Sharepoint and carries over many technical dependencies of this platform, making it difficult to scale.
Nintex makes bold statements about being a leader in the business process world yet they don't recognize many standards, e.g., BPMN.
We ran into a number of technical issues when supporting this platform.
Likelihood to Recommend
Nintex Platform might be well suited for: Workflow automation scenarios that complement larger apps that don't offer workflow automation capabilities (i.e. Salesforce). Simpler and basic business processes that need to run in combo with Sharepoint. Situations where it's impossible to use other DPA Platforms or Microsoft Flow.
