We are using the docgen api to enable our customers to use a document automation workflow. Our customers are lawyers from various law firms in the U.S., and they are heavily involved with generating new documents in their daily lives. Using our Clio’s vast data within the law firm and using Nintex’s docgen api, we’ve been able to let the lawyers create automated docgen in different file extensions
Pros
Customer support response speed.
Point of contacts.
Cons
Docgen api maintainability is quite low priority than other features.
Performance could see some improvements.
Giving more descriptive error messages for api users could be handy for developers.
Likelihood to Recommend
Nintex does a nice job enabling document automation workflow quite fast and nicely. However, the security part of the api is always in question. Nintex uses the third-party docgen api itself, which could pose a client data sensitivity breach. Hopefully, the developers get more clarity on how the team is handling the PII in the near future

We use Nintex Process Platform for our Office 365 tenant and SharePoint 2010.
Our main use is for business requests. Internal Staff are able to submit expense claims, travel request etc... using Nintex form. A Nintex workflow then sends the appropriate approvals to the designated approvers.
Pros
Long lasting, Workflow can stay running for longer than 90 days
Easy to setup
Good UI
Cons
Cost Wise
Limited Integration, i.e. with other Apps
Third Party, Relying on Microsoft to not make drastic changes
Likelihood to Recommend
I would recommend Nintex and it's solution for businesses that require easy and immediate solutions. Nintex provides a good combination of ease of use and good capabilities, which doesn't require specialist coding skills to implement.
Nintex is less appropriate in scenarios where high customization is required. The form is limited in terms of how much you can customize and how powerful the logic/rules can be set up. In these circumstance Power Apps might be a more appropriate solution.
Also, as Nintex is a third party app. Major changes from Microsoft can cause problems. As Nintex communicated, the Office 365 Nintex workflows would all be made redundant due to changes from Microsoft in how they process SharePoint workflows.
At our company, we use Nintex Drawloop DocGen for Salesforce. Salesforce is our CRM system and we utilize Nintex to automatically populate forms and templates to be sent out to our clients. Using this has really helped automate a lot of things and makes it a lot easier to send out the documentation for our clients to sign electronically right through Salesforce.
Pros
Building documentation is super easy
Sending out that documentation after it is built is most of the time seamless
Customer service at Nintex is awesome if we ever need anything
Cons
Occasionally there will be a glitch in our documents if we try and save changes over a document. Might be user error on our side though
Likelihood to Recommend
Building documents is super easy. I work alongside our Salesforce Team to build these documents, and have always have a very great user experience with them. We build a lot of quoting templates, so adding in multiple line items with pricing and discount items that get sent to our clients to electronically sign. The document tagger is a great feature to have.

We use [Nintex Process Platform] to automate many day to day tasks that were used to be made manually like document review, receive payment orders, [remind] our clients to renew their contracts, integrate our CRM with sharepoint documents, etc. It allowed power users to automate their own processes without any coding. Very useful and easy to use.

Likelihood to Recommend
Nintex [Process Platform] is useful for collaboration scenarios, like approval process and integrations. The interface to build workflows is very intuitive and easy to use. It's best used for time consumption tasks and non critical processes Don't use Nintex for transactional scenarios. It does not work in real time and it[s difficult to trace errors.
