MyMedLeads - Look elsewhere for Medical CRM
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use MyMedLeads to manage upper funnel inquiries and leads, before we are ready to enter them into our EMR (Nextech) when they reach the deeper funnel stages (become patients, etc.). We use it for essential CRM functions as well as basic marketing automation (drip email marketing, SMS, and lead tracking). MyMedLeads is integrated with our EMR, Nextech, and is able to create a new patient record within Nextech straight from MyMedLeads, which is one of the most important features. Allows us to support our Patient Care Coordinators in managing and responding to new inquiries efficiently, as well as tracking marketing ROI by campaign/medium.
Pros
- Ability to create a patient record within Nextech directly from MyMedLeads
- HIPPA-Compliant
- Good support team
Cons
- In my opinion, horribly underdeveloped platform and feature set
- Bare-Bones CRM Functions
- I believe it is broken, untrustworthy reporting
- SMS marketing features recently shut down due to carrier issues
- I think it is difficult to use, inefficient UI
- No customization options
- Lead source not mapped to Nextech when converting leads
- I believe it is cumbersome, low-quality solutions for VOIP and Live Chat Integration
- Closed API
Return on Investment
- Lack of integrations with our other systems and closed API makes for a cumbersome and fragmented tech-stack at out practice
- Able to track ROAS of basic campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads)
- Barebones CRM features helps to support the staff
- I think it is barebones Marketing Automation helps with lead nurturing
- SMS Marketing was useful until it was shut down
