I work with a number of clients across a wide range of sectors, predominantly working on transformation and strategic innovation programmes as well as business turnaround and M&A work. I first came across monday.com around 3 - 4 years ago and loved its intuitive approach to collaboration across multiple, often complex workstreams. In the M&A world, these are frequently sitting in somewhat siloed environments and monday.com helps me to bring the teams together in a nice, simple, engaging platform. I particularly enjoy its ease of use and the capability to bring all OKRs and KPIs into a single, simple dashboard.
Pros
Dashboarding
Management of key dependencies
Allocation and monitoring of key deliverables
Lovely configurable UI and UX makes it feel bespoke
Cons
I'd like to see yet more configuration options for the dashboard
Add a risk matrix template
Add "knowledge packs' - things such as go to market strategy, pricing strategy. change management, BPO, etc. to give users a fully immersive "one-stop shop"

10 all the way. In around 95% of my client engagements in the last 3 years, I have insisted they use monday.com. I think that's around 15 clients during that time period. On every single occasion, the biggest single selling point is the dashboard view and ability to manage complex programmes via a simple, easy-on-the-eye interface. Every Board member I show it to buys it. Where most clients previously had reams of PowerPoint, Gannt charts, Kanban board, etc., they now have a single intuitive interface. It simplifies the process so much and permits the executive to focus on what is really important, as opposed to managing heaps of (largely immaterial) reporting.
I pose as an online business manager for over 12 companies across the US. That means I need to keep my ducks in a row...and I have A LOT of ducks. I use monday.com to manage my clients, leads, contacts, and personal and professional tasks. If anyone asks me about monday.com, I always say that it's like my second brain; from jotting notes down to implementing large projects, I know monday.com has me covered!
Pros
Appeal to Visually Oriented People
Seamless Board Automations
Task Management
CRM Management
Highly Customizable
User-Friendly Mobile App
Cons
No Simple Recurring Task Feature
Bulk Editing
Template Management

monday.com has been a great tool for me to plan out both simple and complex projects and tasks. I primarily use it for task tracking and project management. My major downside has been the inability to create recurring tasks, as that is something I deal with regularly in my industry.
We use it to manage and keep up with claims for our customers. It helps us manage the point at which the claim is at, and what needs to be completed. It also keeps track of which representative is over what claims, then what claims are ready for invoicing and accounting.
Pros
The rotation and color coding of the status bar is very beneficial
I appreciate being able to add notes and updates to the subitems
I like that I can generate documents in the program and not have to export the data to create a document.
Cons
Some documents take a little bit to generate, but that could just be due to slow internet
When I search by subitem information, it doesn't let me know what claim that subitem is from
Occasionally when I duplicate a project, it duplicates it more than once.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is very well suited for keeping up with claim locations and lists of clientele. It is great at keeping up with relevant information with the projects. The notification button does only let you notify a week out, which is slightly inconvenient due to the fact that we do monthly follow-up with completed claims.

I love monday.com. It's very helpful to keep track of everything and it helps to stay on top of my task. monday.com works wonders in balancing time management, ease of use, and the exact functionality I need best to operate in my daily life. It takes 99% of the work out of the executive functions that I need to make up.
Pros

Time management

Cons
So far nothing
It's amazing

Keeping track of where in the pipeline projects are, specifically with teams that are less connected. It has allowed us to integrate quarterly OKRs and develop content schedules around them that ensure easier, more transparent report backs to our internal teams.
Within my project management and operations company, I use monday.com as a CRM and to manage my clients marketing projects. I had been using multiple systems and one of the clients I started working with was using monday.com. I had no experience, learned it quickly, and loved it so much that I started using it in my own business! I also decided to get my core builder certification to increase my marketability to prospective clients.
Pros
task automation and workflow
providing options for individual users to view things in different ways (kan -ban vs items)
keeping workspaces organized and using the my work space
Cons
reporting that uses colors to organize (when I assign a color to multiple people and then pull data from multiple boards, some charts group the colors together)
being able to build a workspace and "duplicate" it without using an app
build a complete workspace template that imports folders

I have used monday as a crm, a marketing platform, and operations management. It really is a versatile tool that is more intuitive than some of the other project management tools out there. Having the different plans also makes it so that business owners can try it and grow with the system.

monday.com was implemented in the company almost a year ago, and I don't know how we were able to make it without this amazing tool before that. We use it across the entire company, from our workforce in the front line to managers and executives, to help ourselves and our clients to keep a clean, organized, transparent, and easy to access record of tasks and projects. monday.com is an incredible platform that allows a wide range of tracking methods based on your personal and organization's needs. It's incredibly versatile and is my preferred accountability partner now to help me make sure things from my day-to-day are getting done.
Pros
Record tracking, by keeping a log of things, I and others, do on a daily basis
Visibility of tasks' progress; It allows me and others to see the progress made and the stage where I am at of a particular project or task
Versatility; It allows me to record information using my own mind map and perspective
Accountability; It helps me be efficient and meet dead lines
Cons
Permission level. Sometimes it's a bit saddening not to be able to use all features available due to a lack of permissions
I'd like to have a live support chat

I'd definitely recommend monday.com to a colleague or friend. monday.com has helped me greatly because it adapts to my needs. I regularly find myself with more tasks on a regular day than what I'm actually able to do, and before monday.com, things used to pile up and get buried. Now, I have an easy-to-use method that allows me to stay on top of everything.
