Robust VPN
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
It is being used across the whole organization for securing our connections. We have internal applications, endpoints, etc..., that need to be private but not just by credentials, through the network too due to the level of their confidentiality. It also allows instant access to all applications by just logging in one time with the Client.
Pros
- Securing network
- Changing public IP address also for internal apps
- Not requesting extra security logging after you get up
- Stability on connection
Cons
- It's a little slower
- Requires to be careful with the configuration on network
- It seems to cause a weird behavior in MAC when loading after turn on sometimes
Likelihood to Recommend
It is well suited for large corporations for granularity on users' roles, security levels for each application, and for logging in with an extra security layer. For doing demanding network tasks, like downloading a large set of data or for streaming, it could get slower than with a direct connection.
