Many users also value its multi-entity management for efficient intercompany consolidation and its integration with other software.

Pros
Robust and customizable financial reporting and dashboards
Efficient multi-entity and global consolidation management
User-friendly interface for core accounting functions
Strong integration capabilities with other software
Automation of Accounts Payable and General Ledger processes
Cons
Complexity of custom reporting and dashboard creation
Difficulty making adjustments to transactions after posting
Challenges with audit trail functionality
Inconsistent customer support responsiveness and certification
I use Sage Intacct for monthly financial reporting, entering journal entries and other transactions, and pulling reports for analysis of the financials. The product helps me to organize and accurately report on financial data on a monthly or yearly basis. It is also integrated with our bank, which makes AP payments simple and streamlined.
Pros
It is fairly easy to copy an existing report and modify it to create custom reports.
Available integrations with various other software assists me by automating data entry.
It is intuitive and user friendly, while at the same time, being robust enough to handle the accounting functions of a medium sized business.
Cons
I would like the ability to reclassify credit card transactions after they have been entered.
I would like to be able to utilize allocations with credit card transactions. This would eliminate a manual journal entry that I need to make every month to accommodate this missing feature.
I would like to be able to drill down on all values in all reports.
Likelihood to Recommend
I think Sage Intacct is well suited to a medium size business that reports in multiple dimensions. It is a bit too robust for a very small company and probably not quite enough for a very large company. It has most of the features and capabilities that are needed by my organization and seems to be the best choice for us.

I am handling accounts of Non Profit Organization. I am using Sage Intacct from last 3 years. It is one of the best accounting software which is good in handling Inventory base model and along with that its good in handling multiple Interunit reconciliations. In this from one place you can post entries to multiple Interunit subsidiaries. Easily we can attach supporting to each entries and account reconciliation's is easy in this software. Reporting section is also good, you can create, edit and customize reports according to your need.
Pros
Inventory calculations is very good in Sage Intacct. Its very good for Inventory based client and Non Profit Org.
Reporting sections is also good, Easily anyone can edit and customize the reports as per needs.
Sage Intacct helps us in maintaining large number of data, easy to integrate with other softwares.
Cons
Customer Support - Sage Intacct provide dedicated relationship manager but they are not able to solve the issue or its time taking to connect with them.
Training - Learning resources from the Sage Intacct are good but it would be great if Sage Intacct can provide some free certifications to the users. If we are paying monthly subscription or annually subscription then there is no need to charge certification from regular customers.
Reporting sections is good but bit complicated. Normal person are not able to create reports for themselves.

Sage Intacct is good in Non profit organization. I have around 250 interunit companies. In Sage Intacct its easy to post interunit entries and reconcile the same just because there is no need to log in to each entity separately. Just you have to select location, class and easily one single entry will effect multiple interunit at the same. This makes reconciliation easy. AP, Payroll management, expense tracking, location and department wise working etc. all these multiple features are easily and working efficiently.
I use Sage Intacct daily for Sales Orders, Sales Invoices, AP, and Purchasing. The software makes it easy to track subscription contracts purchased by our customers and schedule recurring invoices for mid-term billing.
Pros
Tracking contracts.
Importing templates for long JEs.
Running detailed reports.
Cons
Ability to update address when sales invoice has been posted.
Ability to update PO number or contact name when sales invoice has been posted.
Ability to enter a pre-payment prior to SO or invoice being generated.
Likelihood to Recommend
Sage Intacct is an excellent program for when you need many details. However, I feel that it lacks some functionalities to make easy transactions less complex - such as being able to edit or update transactions after being posted if the changes do not affect the amount, GL, and payment dates.
We use it primarily for its general ledger, A/P, and multi-entity capabilities. We upgraded from QuickBooks Enterprise, which did not support a multi-entity environment.
Pros
General ledger
Accounts payable
Multi-entities
Partial ownership
Cons
Allowing users to resize general ledger fields while creating entries
Create folders in Financial Reports to make the list more manageable
Save user created reports in the QuickStart library
Add the ability to reclassify entry information for cash receipts
Likelihood to Recommend
It does a great job supporting a multi-entity environment by making all the inter-entity journal entries in the background. I also like the ability to classify journal entries into different journals.
I wish the journal entry transaction filters would allow users to filter by a date range instead of just a single date, instead of having to run a separate report.

I have used various Sage products in my career and have used Sage Intacct for the past two years. Out of all of the Sage products I have used, Sage Intacct is by far my favorite for its user-friendly interface and custom reporting. I work in client accounting services for short-term rental property management companies. Sage Intacct works great for the complex, multi-entity clients who need custom detailed financial reporting. As my clients grow, Sage Intacct scales easily to accommodate new properties and entities, offering real-time insights.
Pros
Custom, real-time financial reporting. I am able to streamline my reporting to pull in various account groups and calculations which save me time from having to do it in Excel.
Out of the box standard reports for clients who don't require as custom of reporting or even as a great starting point to build out reports.
Integrations with other platforms, such as Airbase, various banks, Rippling, etc.
The dashboard module is extremely helpful in my monthly review of various entities.
Cons
The fixed assets module is severely lacking compared to the rest of Sage Intacct. It seems like much of an afterthought as it is not user-friendly and has multiple bugs causing reporting issues. If a mistake is made, it is not easy to fix. Finding support for this module is seemingly difficult as well.
Certain permissions are difficult to distinguish between users.
In the accounts receivable module, invoices are not able to be edited once they are paid, even if the payment is unapplied when using revenue recognition. This is a huge pain.
Revenue recognition does not always reliably post.
It would be very beneficial if we could post dimensions when using the auto-balance function for inter-company transactions.

In my experience, Sage Intacct is perfect for clients with complex financial accounting needs, such as a company with multiple entities or large-scale operations. In my experience, individual short term rental owners who have one property and simple accounting needs typically benefit more from a smaller scale accounting platform, such as Quickbooks.
I use Sage Intacct for Bookkeeping purposes. Before, I used to do it in other ERPs, but it was too complicated. Sage Intacct was easy to use when compared to other ERP. While using Sage Intacct it's easy for me to pull the reports and compare my books. This gave me beautiful insights.
Pros
Journal Entries
Export reports
Multi entities
Foreign currency converting
Cons
Dashboards
Automation
Easy navigation
Likelihood to Recommend
Sage Intacct is too appropriate for bookkeeping, it's easy to use when compared to other ERPs. While accounting Sales or Purchases, creating customers and creating vendors. Vendor mapping was easy for multi entities. Creating multi entities top level to entity level. Pulling reports was way more easier in Sage Intacct. As I got the 1099 consolidated report, it helped me so much.

We use Sage Intacct to track time and materials for our projects, which are billed to our clients and internal company stakeholders. In addition to time tracking (hour billing), we extend Sage to do all our expense billings. Sage is a great tool for making sure our teams are aligned on time and resources without keeping any physical paper trail. We also use Sage for expenses and reimbursements.
Pros
Seamless Timesheet filling and approval process.
Expenses Tracking and Reimbursements.
I love the Duplicate time and expenses feature.
Cons
The attachment feature is expenses, which is quite painful. First, we must upload and create attachments and then select and add them to the expense reports.
Users should be able to directly attach any files or attachments to the expenses.
When an error occurs on the submission, instead of taking users to a different screen and showing them a big error page, just show the errors on the same page.
This would help users capture the filled-in information and errors in one screen.
Users should also be able to see a "?" icon next to each field to identify it.
Likelihood to Recommend
I am good at Timesheets and recurring Timesheets. Can we add automation to timesheets so that my timesheets are automatically duplicated unless intervened? Ideas: Attachments in expenses should be done differently. The users should see an info icon next to each field describing what it is.
In our Organisation, we use Sage Intacct as an Accounting software. It is been a great help for organizations in maintaining client data and processing a large amount of data. Sage Intacct has so many modules that are useful for the client which will be helpful for our company to acquire clients.
Pros
Automation
Recording
Sync
Cons
User Interface
Glitches and Lags
Likelihood to Recommend
Taking reports like AP vendor matrices, Consolidated 1099 reports, etc., has been a great help. But creating vendors and Paying multi-currency bills and POs is a bit tedious. In Sage Intacct we can use the report of consolidated 1099 report to prepare working files and file 1099 for the clients. Sage Intacct Does't get many updates with new features.
Sage Intacct is a cloud financial management software that solves some of the significant business problems, like processes being handled manually, lack of real-time insight, complex financial management, and compliance and scalability problems. For organizations with many entities, Sage Intacct simplifies complex financial management to enable seamless consolidation and accurate reporting across locations. The software supports numerous use cases, like core financial management that includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger; project accounting to track costs and profitability; and budgeting and planning to effectively create and track budgets. Overall, Sage Intacct enhances the efficiency, accuracy, and strategic decision-making processes of an organization, and it is really good.
Pros
Real-Time Reporting.
Budgeting and Forecasting.
Multi-Entity and Multi-Currency Management.
Cons
User Training and Support.
Mobile Functionality.
Performance Issue.
Likelihood to Recommend
Sage Intacct fits best in multi-entity organizations, project-based companies, nonprofits managing various funds, and fast-growing businesses that need scalable financial management. It would be less suitable for a small business that has only simple accounting needs; it is less applicable to organizations with specific compliance needs or extensive customization and, generally, does not meet the operation of companies without dedicated IT.
