Apptio is for managing cloud costs and infrastructure monitoring, we also use it to create and modify reports and monitor issues across our servers.
Pros
- i like that it makes environment management much easier and efficient without any issues
- it gives a centralized solution and allows me to monitor everything, including cloud costs
- the IT Planning module helps me build budgets from scratch and keeps everything transparent
Cons
- there are integration gaps between the modules
- sometimes the TBM Studio module gets slow and clunky
Return on Investment
- i was able to save cloud costs using Apptio
- it gave me detailed visibility, and I can now monitor and report problems faster
- forecasting and budgeting became much smoother, and leadership can see clear breakdowns
