I mainly Gusto to receive my paystubs and set up direct deposit and make donations. I also use it to request time-off, use vacation hours and post sick days. It allows the employee to easily manage such things with minimum communication with HR or their supervisor. It also makes the entire process easier and more straight foreword. It also makes it easier to donate to charities and non-profits.
Pros
Track paystub records clearly and simply
easy to understand and clean interface
keep track of remaining out-of-office hours
Cons
It can be hard to find the charity or non-profit I'm looking for. Instead of just a search bar, also add a list of all organizations within the Gusto system. Have tabs or filters that allow you to only organizations of a certain category (environmental, health, foreign aid, etc.)
Provide additional benefits for the Gusto bank account to make it more competitive with other banks.
This might not be feasible, but allow us to link our bank account or credit accounts to Gusto so we can use Gusto's spending tracker without having a Gusto bank account

Well suited for setting up paystubs and doing paperwork.
The spending tracker is on the home page but is never used because I prefer my current bank(s).
We use Gusto for payroll at our company. The business case that Gusto addresses is our companies payroll needs along with Benefits for health/dental and vision. Gusto makes the entire process much easier and more automated. The entire company of 200 + People are also using Gusto and it has been great.
Pros
Payroll - Direct Deposit
Benefits
Org Chart Company Overview
Cons
Payday accuracy
Chatbot Support
Understanding of Gusto plan

Gusto is well suited for companies of a few hundred people - The direct deposit has been working okay so far and the benefits guide has been really helpful as well. It makes it easy to see what benefits you've chosen as well. The early direct deposit could be better and provide more information on how it works.

Gusto is great! It is easy to input employees' hours and keep track of it. Employees get paid promptly, and it is an easy, streamlined process. My favorite perk is that when it comes time to file taxes, Gusto is connected to Turbo Tax and automatically populates employees' W2s! Our old payroll system was not great. We were constantly dealing with timing issues and no pay until three days after payday. Gusto makes the whole payroll process bearable and easy! The benefits of using Gusto are the Turbo Tax integration, the Gusto savings account, and ease of use.
Pros
Providing payroll reports.
Connects to Turbo Tax for employee taxes.
Easy to input hours.
Cons
Multiple withdrawals for payroll, employee, and employer taxes.
QuickBooks integration would be nice.

We use it for payroll, time off, benefits, and expense reimbursement
Pros
Easy
Employee portal
Cons
[In my opinion,] benefits renewal is really bad. No one called, they opened enrollment without consulting us
Open enrollment rates are wrong, enrollment dates are wrong. It's a mess
Getting past the call center firewall is difficult. It is taking a week of calling and emailing to get anyone's attention and it's very difficult to get errors fixed!

[I've found] the customer support for fixes is terrible. [In my experience], often for issues or errors you will spend hours on the phone with call center people who really can't do much to fix or change things.
