Payroll reports I can use for workers comp audits and other uses.
Cons
Improves customer service respond time.
Add more functionalities for payroll deductions.
More structured way to add one time reimbursements.

Excellent for small to medium sized businesses including businesses that have employees in more than one state. If you need payroll that's highly customizable and complex, maybe Gusto is not the option for you.

We utilize Gusto for payroll, onboarding, and offboarding of employees, PTO tracking, and HR functions. For a small business, it can’t be beat for costs, protecting both employee and employer. We love it and would never go back to in-house or local payroll services.
Pros

Cons
Hour tracking from week to week on split employee pay.
AI analysis of employee hours submitted for any kind of false reporting.

We use Gusto for payroll at our small business. We selected Gusto when we started our business because Gusto offers options that we will want as our business grows. Gusto payroll is easy to navigate. We run both weekly and monthly payrolls and Gusto makes this easy to manage and keep organized.

Communication from Gusto is quick and helpful.
It is easy to update employee details.
The flexibility in running payroll is SO helpful.
Navigating the Gusto website is easy.
Cons

When adding a new employee, it is great that we can initiate onboarding through Gusto to the employee to self-enter their information. We are currently running monthly and weekly payrolls; Gusto makes this a breeze. For our small business, Gusto is a great fit and offers options that we will want/need as we grow.

We use Gusto in our organization for payroll tasks for 6 employees. It takes care of all state and federal reporting - leaving accounting staff to handle more day to day work in a timely manner. It is simple to use and allows for easy onboarding and offboarding of employees .
Pros
timecard entry
payroll summary
reporting to state and feds
Cons
I really don't see any negatives

Gusto is great for small office payroll. I think it would be perfect if we ran our benefits through it as well. At this time I have to use another platform for benefits and manually enter them into Gusto. That leaves room for error on my part. In our office, it is perfect for biweekly payroll and saves me a couple hours reporting time. I think it would be incredibly helpful in a large office with a mix of salaried and hourly employees.

At my organization, we use Gusto entirely for payroll. We have another app, called Factor, that helps us to log time. This app is for people in our industry (the structural engineering industry). It helps us to manage payroll and taxes. I think we may use Gusto in a more limited way than other organizations, and it can be cumbersome to log time in one app and do other payroll functions in another.
Pros
Keeps records for a long time
Tracks next anticipated paydate
Provides data about how much I've been paid over time
Cons
It was difficult to change my surname when I got married--someone at my office had to call
It took some time to figure out how the rainy day fund worked
I realize that there's a performance tab; I don't think anyone at my work knows that this can be used for performance reviews.

Gusto is a great service to use if you have a small business that needs easy, streamlined payroll management services. It can help make it easier to generate tax documents. It can help you to keep track of spending and withholdings as both a company and as an employee/user.

I get paid through Gusto. Also my company does their performance reviews through Gusto. I use the product to split up my pay into savings (which I really really like). The scope of my use is just as an employee receiving my pay through the product and splitting my pay into both Gusto accounts and personal accounts
Pros
Early deposit
Easy to use website and site design
One location for all my pay information
Cons
I'd like to be able to split my pay into multiple savings accounts by percentage, not dollar amount
I'd like to be able to move money to linked non-Gusto accounts instantly without a fee
Gusto could provide more information and recommendations to things like savings, investing
I'd love to be able to buy stocks and bitcoin with Gusto. I use CashApp to do this and it's great.

I'm not really in a position to recommend Gusto to anyone and I don't think there's any sort of compensation or reward for referring people, but I could be wrong. I'm more likely to recommend Chime to a friend because they offer $100-$200 for any referrals that sign up and have direct deposit. Chime also offers "spot-me" where you can overdraw without penalty up to a certain amount and that has saved me so much money
We use Gusto as our time puncher and to get paid. We have 12 employees and many clients so it helps each employee keep their clients time organized and allows our boss to invoice clients with a detailed over view of the time and work done.
Pros
Easy to Access savings accounts
easy to use time cards
Keeps a clear employee schedule for OOO
Cons
Entering into the payroll system since its been updated

Small business with a few employees to monitor time and shifts is something that Gusto is great to be used for.
