greytHR helped us manage leaves, company policy documents, view salary slips and also with tax declaration. Scope was restricted only to the HRMS side.

greytHR can be recommended when starting off exploring HRMS tools. However, the robustness of the tool needs improvement so that it can fit everyone's use case as well as inclusion of newer features that many competitors offer already. If you have a very big team, then this tool may not be the perfect fit as bugs will be easily visible.
The software was installed across the organization (in extension, it was used by all the organizations within the parent company).
The main problems greytHR solves are
1. Attendance management - GreytHR took care of leaves and attendance, an employee can apply for a leave which goes through a process (approval from reporting manager) after which it is logged in the system and an employee can review the balance.
2. Work time management - Our organizations have strict in-time, so there were policies put in place for late arrivals so that managers can track in-time. In addition, managers and employees can review in-time, out-time through the portal. This was tied to the RFID card readers installed on the premises.
3. Reimbursement process - Employees could submit bills to reimburse claims.
4. Tax declaration - Every year employees had to submit tax documents which were digitalized using GreytHR.
5. Documentation such as salary note, tax note, education document, government identity, etc. - Drive for all documents employee and employer have shared for employment.
6. Directory - List of all the employees in the organization
7. Policy documentation - Company policy drives

Leave Management - Anyone can track and get leave approvals easily
Daily Attendance Management - Check in-time, out-time, late time etc.
Employee Information Management - Salary details, appraisal details etc. can be tracked on the portal.

User Experience - It has a very old user experience
Mobile friendly - The mobile app is only available on android with limited functionality
Bugs - We encountered few bugs in the system which were only solved after talking to the tech team.

It is an inexpensive one-stop solution for employee management but limited to pure management, not engagement, things can survey, the employee review process could not be placed for which another application has to be used.
The support is very prompt and implementation is not complex but you will encounter some bugs and need to do some customization for certain standard processes.
Employees will like the one-stop solution but might not like the user experience, there is a learning curve behind it.
greytHR is being used by our organization not only by a specific department but across the whole organization. This software has been used in our organization to manage payroll-related activities for all employees. This reduced many hassles which are faced by the accounting and HR departments in terms of employee payroll management.

It is used for end to end payroll related modules, attendance management, employee document management services, and also for statutory compliances & requirements which are bound to be followed. greytHR is used organization wide as right from induction to separation all workflows which are related to employees are processed through this portal.

greytHR is go to module for small to medium enterprises as it easily navigates the need of HR Management system along with competitive pricing. greytHR offers flexibility right from payroll management as it helps from offer creation to indicative Tax Projection. greytHR has the flexibility of many features right from task allocation to document management. The only problem though their platform is highly responsive and interactive. They should work on improving the overall experience for the end user which they do often. As a user who has used SAP and Oracle based HRMS I feel greytHR offers such features for SME for ease of handling things.
