We use GoTo Connect primarily for customer support. It easily cuts a PC or Mac support call down by 75% of calls without using support. We have used it to access remote computers but don't use it anymore. The GoTo support sessions are also great for training new customers on the systems they will be using.
Pros
Support to windows devices.
Diagnostics of the customer machine.
Remote access to computers.
Cons
Support to android devices.
Support to iOS devices.
Shared support seats

An excellent support tool for providing or troubleshooting for clients with Windows environments. Aces.
We use GoTo Connect for our business phone solutions. Reasonably priced and rarely have any issues.
Pros
Phone Service.
Easy to Use Admin.
Call Routing.
Cons
Having the ability for a user to listen to call recordings without having full admin portal access. The Owner of our company has threatened me to search and shop for other companies as certain people within our company need to listen to call recordings but aren't allowed access to admin features like call routing.
Being able to contact support via phone. It takes a lot of research to get a support phone number. They really push the online chat support.

- Uptime. Very little downtime/issues with service. Call routing/ auto attendant is very easy to use!
GoTo Connect (formerly Jive) was being used by our company as the business-wide solution for video conferencing with both prospects and clients. This solved the business problem of being able to have face-to-face interactions, without having to be in the actual same place as the other party. We had GoTo Connect (formerly Jive) auto-installed on every device when a new employee was onboarded.
Pros
Video Conferencing.
Screensharing.
Drawing/highlighted cursor.
Cons
Mobile Application.
Guest sign-on process.

I would recommend GoTo Connect (formerly Jive) to any business with a need for virtual meeting capabilities. It is an excellent solution for video calls and screen-sharing during sales pitches, solutions consultations, account reviews, etc. However, I would only recommend it for companies with a large inside sales force, as the mobile application is not as friendly and seems to have a lot of bugs which would be a hindrance to traveling sales reps.
GoToConnect (formerly Jive) is the VOIP phone solution for the entire company. It allows us to manage and update settings for each branch individually, while retaining a cohesive overview of the phone system in one place. We also use GoToConnect for video interviews and interoffice training/troubleshooting. I can share my screen with them for training, or watch them reproduce the error in real time. I LOVE the ability to take control of a remote worker's mouse/keyboard in order to show them what to do, or make changes for them. I no longer have to talk them through a process; now I can show them.
Pros
Extremely flexible system design allows you to create practically any phone tree you can imagine.
Web portal allows updates to be made from anywhere.
Mobile app allows staff to make and receive calls using the office number, while not physically in the office. Protects employee personal information, and enhances communication flexibility.
The video conference tool with the ability to control mouse/keyboard is GOLD.
Cons
The central web portal sacrifices intuitive design for a depth of detail / configuration options. It takes a little while to learn exactly how/where to find/update some settings.
Requiring a specific dialable number to use the 'park' feature means that most staff refuse to use it.
I wish the voicemails that are emailed to me were playable in my email client, rather than downloading (though I don't think I can blame GoToConnect for that).
It's slightly unintuitive to invite someone to a video conference meeting.

GoToConnect is great as a phone service and as a video conference tool. It SHINES in a technology troubleshooting usecase. I really like the flexibility of the phone system design, allowing me to make updates even on the fly. The GoToConnect desktop app is poor, and I'm not actually sure it's supported any longer. Instead I've been using the web portal, which has worked just fine for us. The phone app has been fine; may update a little slow, but I love that I can make calls from the 'office' from anywhere.

We use GoTo Connect (formerly Jive) to connect our inbound calls from Salesloft and other customers we are calling. I have the GoTo Connect mobile app on my phone and will connect with customers who are calling me back from previous calls I've made to them. The whole sales department is using it. It allows your work number to be attached to your cell phone.
Pros
Allows your work number to be attached to your cell phone.
Mobile app.
Cons
Call quality is poor.
Caller ID is lacking.
Likelihood to Recommend
GoTo Connect (formerly Jive) is well suited if you want to receive calls from prospects that run through a number other than your cell phone. The app provides a way always to receive calls even when away from the office. It is less appropriate for conducting long calls or ones in which you need a reliable connection.
