I don't recommend the Commuter Benefits by Edenred
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
I experienced financial loss and inconvenience caused by a defective Commuter Benefits by Edenred MasterCard ending, which was issued to me by your company. The card’s magnetic strip was faulty from the outset, preventing me from completing in-person transactions that required swiping. While I was able to make online payments, my daily commute expenses— which require a card swipe—could not be processed. As a result, I was unable to pay for my commute with pre-tax dollars as per the terms of the program. Reaching customer service was also extremely difficult. It took me over 40 minutes to speak with a representative, who confirmed that the card was generating errors upon swiping. This issue was entirely due to Commuter Benefits by Edenred issuing a defective card. Given the financial loss I incurred from being unable to use my pre-tax benefits as intended, as well as the inconvenience and time lost resolving this issue, I kindly requested appropriate compensation. The company is very lousy business who don't provide the service according to the agreement.
