I use it for lots of items. Billing, Invoicing to customer and leasing partners, Adding leases to upload into Salesforce for our account reps. Anything administration related. The product addresses having everything in 1 area to view.
Pros
Invoicing
Tracking of Equipment by customer
Showing if equipment has a service agreement
Contact Information for customer
Cons
Understanding and using freight costs automatically
Seeing immediately the termination completed by
Understanding additional classes
Likelihood to Recommend
Well suited for invoicing and keeping customer records. Improvement of being able to auto do some items such as freight costs. Creating records that are easily importable to other CRM systems that are compatible to be used. This has a great system to show leasing information as well as anything that is billed for the customer. It would be helpful to fully understand reports that are available and how to use. More classes to be available, specifically on an advanced side and not just basics.

I love utilizing E-Automate. The program has various functions that help complete all of our necessary administration work. I admire how I can navigate the system and use different functions that make my job easier. I would recommend this to a lot of people.
Pros
Sales orders.
Billing
Accounting
Cons
Has records of all previous equipment in recent contracts.
Has records of payments made through the portal.
Likelihood to Recommend
I recommend this program to others. I have never used this program before, so I would let others know about its excellent functions.

I use Mobile Tech and FMAudit. MobileTech is my daily ticket handling system driven by e-automate. FMAutdit is used to connect to customers hardware for meter readings, ties into e-automate for billing and device tracking.
Pros
it integrates with the other platforms
it provides a single data source for customer data
it is in the cloud so data is backed up and secure
Cons
apis are not freely available for custom integrations
visualizing and working with data is not intuitive or easy, and often requires 3rd party software like ceojuice
FMAudit and MobileTech have limited access to data from e-automate that hinder their functionality
Likelihood to Recommend
It is good for those wanting a single ecosystem for their customer data. That ecosystem is not very versatile and has a tendency to prevent outside the box thinking or doing things in ways that would be better for the customers/clients.
Currently, we use e-automate to generate monthly invoices, track customer balances, and apply for payments. We were unable to implement the inventory system due to the lack of serial numbers available in our business process. We do not use remote tech due to a change where Xerox moved all services out of XPPS. We do not use accounts payable solutions as our accountant knows nothing about e-automate. Payroll is not available in Puerto Rico. E-info is.... underwhelming. We had it, and it is very laggy. NetCC card processing is not available in Puerto Rico. E-views is useful. The meter import utility is a blessing. The accounts receivable console is great, along with the customer notes system.
Pros
Accounts Receivable Console.
e-views
Billing Queue.
Cons
Make sales invoices not require serial numbers, or be more flexible with it.
Make contract invoices have some sort of flexibility in terms of editing. Our end users complain that QuickBooks made it very easy to edit invoices, and in e-automate, for them, it is practically impossible. (I do personally understand why it has to be as it is myself, I'm just forwarding their observation.)
Make the API actually useful. I spent days looking at the functions and the functions available are not really useful.
Likelihood to Recommend
For a business that runs its billing by manually creating invoices, e-automate is a blessing. For a business that is undergoing rapid growth, the long learning curve and strict process of application cause hurdles and difficulties in some scenarios.

Our business utilizes ECI for various functions, including service requests, accounts payable and receivable, and dispatch operations. ECI has proven to be an invaluable resource for our company, enhancing our workflow and enabling us to monitor every customer call regarding equipment issues. I highly recommend it to businesses of all sizes.
Pros
Prompt phone support.
Email responsive.
Addresses problems in a fast matter.
Cons
Friendly Account Statements.
Likelihood to Recommend
Customers can now receive an estimated time of arrival (ETA) or confirmation number upon request, which was not possible in the past. Customers have observed this and inquired whether we have implemented any updates to our system. I then seize the opportunity to discuss ECI.
I use e-Automate for almost EVERYTHING accounting - tracking payables and receivables, paying invoices, invoicing customers, entering credit card payments and receipts, financial statements, customer statements, and reconciling bank accounts. We use it to track equipment sold to customers and manage inventory. About the only thing I do not use it for is tracking labor because we do not charge our labor out to jobs.
Pros
Sending Invoices out to customers via email or printing.
Keep track of ordering and inventory.
Sales Tax reporting.
Monitoring customer payment activity/setting up and removing credit holds.
Calculating payments to process each cycle.
Excellent aging reports.
I like the fact that when I am looking at one item, such as an invoice, I have the capability to switch to the customer menu rather than having to exit out of invoices and then enter into customers.
I love the flexibility of the search menus - being able to sort on several factors at once.
Cons
When there is a long drop-down menu, I often scroll to reach the frequently used fields. I am accustomed to software that allows me to increase the size of the drop-down box.
It is very confusing to work "backward."When I try to book a non-receivables deposit in the Cashbook, I must enter it as an adverse withdrawal. I do not understand why ALL deposits have to be related to receivables. We have frequent Nnon-receivable deposits.
Although the export function works beautifully when exporting data into Excel, it doesn't work at all for open-source software. My laptop died last year. I used another employee's backup laptop until my company could get me a new one. This employee hates Microsoft products, so they do not have Excel and Word. Data exports were almost non-existent in this software.
Likelihood to Recommend
E-Automate does MOST accounting functions exceptionally well. Payables, Receivables, Billing, Bank Account Reconciliations, Inventory, Sales Tax Reporting, Customer Statements, Moving back and forth between software modules. The negatives are functionality I have had in other software products that e-Automate lacks. Things such as expanding drop-down menus (when 90% of the time, the item I am looking for is out of the range). Another negative is the way the software handles deposits. Every Cashbook Deposit is considered to be a receivables deposit. Our company has frequent deposits that are not. The only workaround we have found is to enter them as "negative" withdrawals.

For the most part, it's user-friendly if you know how to navigate the program. Otherwise, if you have a problem and need help, it does take a representative a couple of days to get back to you on the issue you're having. I would say it is a space saver.
Pros
Dispatching
Invoices
Payables/receivables
Cons
Customer questions getting answered in a reasonable time.
Cost
RTV orders.
Likelihood to Recommend
The business that we are in works well for our company due to having copiers and printers and us needing to enter meters. Also, it helps with dispatching calls, sending invoices out to all of our customers, and paying invoices to our vendors.

We use e-automate to streamline our daily interactions with our customers in and out of our organization. e-automate address the issue of clutter in terms of filing and knowing the data helps our organization to maximize our goal in terms of coordinating with our client and at the same time knowing exactly what our client is speding and the cost benefits to our operations.
Pros
Invoicing
Record Keeping
Contract maintenance
Items identification
Cons
I would like to see a watermark on paid invoices
Ability to include a thumbnail picture of the devices
Real time alerts on A/P and A/R
Likelihood to Recommend
e-automate is well suited for copier business that deals with a lot of inventories.
It covers our day-to-day operations. Basically it's a complete ERP between accounting, payable, ordering, sales orders, covers everything we need.
Pros
There's a utility called eAgent, which actually helps automate a lot of processes that we don't have to have people manually do one-on-one.
Cons
Some of the contract management. That's about all I have right now on that.
Likelihood to Recommend
I find no negatives on the product. It's well suited where you create the sales order, you can basically link that to a purchase order, receive the purchase order, goes into the sales order to process the order to put it out to the customer is very easy.
