We use Echobox to facilitate content from our website to Facebook and X. We were told the software would pay for itself by virtue of increased referral traffic, however that traffic has decreased since we initially began using the service in 2022.

We have been using Echobox Social for a year to manage our social media output across X, Facebook and LinkedIn, across two publications.

Echobox Social is helping us solve reduced social traffic due to the deprioritisation of news content by the social platforms, and is also helping a small team increase social output and save time with what was previously more manual posting.

Pros

  • It has improved our social media team's workflow, allowing more time to focus on content creation and strategy. The RSS feed input and easy-to-use interface mean we can manage multiple social platforms effectively and efficiently.
  • By recommending articles with high virality scores that align with our reshare settings, it saves the team time and helps us optimise our content based on trending topics. The ability to easily reshare evergreen content has helped drive increased traffic to our websites, and the duplicate post function has been a really useful way of boosting our content output and social performance.
  • The Echobox Social team are always really quick to respond to any issues we are experiencing and these are usually resolved just as quickly.
