While of course giving us the ability to run UX tests and uncover new segments for personalization, Dynamic Yield also reduces dev resources needed with the amazing out-of-box features, provides us with the most innovative and up-to-date features to test with, helps us minimize revenue loss within a strategic growth plan and gives us the insights we need to improve KPIs that are important to the business.
Pros
Innovative out-of-the-box features
Robust analytics capabilities
Detailed segmentation for building experiences
Cons
Easier integration capabilities with custom analytics dashboards being used internally (Like Google Data Studio)

Dynamic Yield is great for personalization and product recommendations!
Our Conversion Rate Optimisation team is leveraging Dynamic Yield in order to manage, track and report on the performance of tests and recommendations. We leverage the built in algorithms and testing capabilities to split and report on experience and variation based performance. As well as to iterate tests and help to map out our testing cadence and test iterations moving forward.
Pros
Provide fantastic support, both in relation to strategy/best practice and troubleshooting.
An easy to use interface, as a user who is relatively new to Dynamic Yield I find that it is an intuitive platform to use.
The ability to segment and drill down on data allows for really specific insights which, whilst not necessarily being leveraged on a testing basis, can be super valuable from a greater marketing perspective.
Cons
We are based in Australia and while your support staff are amazing, we find that we struggle to have quick resolutions to our issues and training calls are outside of business hours as our DY support team are all based in the Northern Hemisphere - local support would be amazing!
We are currently working with a client who has two international sites and hard redirects based on geographic location - it is causing issues with regard to source attribution and location of users (users who have been hard redirected are still showing as having been users and huge percentages of traffic are incorrectly being attributed to referral/direct) it would be great if some troubleshooting could address these types of issues.

My personal use of Dynamic Yield is still quite limited. I have only been working directly with this platform for the last couple of months. In my limited experience, it appears that DY would be a fantastic solution when websites and reporting (i.e. GA integrations have been set up in a 'typical' manner). One of the clients I am presently working with has not followed best practice for many of these things and we are finding that we are struggling with data integrity (around source/location - is skewed due to two international sites each having hard redirects based on location). While I understand that technology platforms are generally built for the majority (customising a site for the few is a costly investment for little return) it would be great if there were some workarounds available for situations that are not-typical.
We currently use Dynamic Yield to keep our website as personalized as possible, hoping to help our customers get the items they are searching for, in a faster manner. Only the marketing team is using it. Problems that DY has solved is ease of use for us as a company in being able to upload content to our website in a visually pleasing manner.
Pros
Dynamic Yield is very good at helping us personalize our website, giving us many options to choose from as to who sees what, and why.
The ease of use is great, it makes my job quick and easy.
The number of options and templates that are built-in make DY easy for anyone to pick up the program and be effective without any extra effort.
Cons
Because we have so many experiences on the go at a time, it can get slow while we are working in the back end.

Honestly, if you want to have an easy way of making sure your website caters the right things to the right people, DY is the program for you. I can have many different iterations of the same page at the same time, and it will show each version to the right person, allowing them to see what they want to see.
We use dynamic yield to support the marketing initiatives of our client, by focussing on campaigns to target on repeat users, etc
Pros
Supporting analytics are comprehensive.
Platform's UI is intuitive and easy to use/navigate.
I like the ability to create templates for experiences that could be used more than once with variable support for changing data definitions.
Cons
Better capabilities of user tracking in email campaign integrations for those campaigns that are not necessarily product-focused.

Dynamic Yield is very strong for targeted marketing and recommendations. It could also be a very strong tool for temporary additions to websites without having to change site architecture.
We use Dynamic Yield for MVT, A/B and Personalisation testing across all pages of our B2C website. Before Dynamic Yield any testing or site development would be handled by our internal developers. We have been able to reduce IT involvement to almost zero using the built in functionality of Dynamic Yield.
Pros
The out of the box features are impressive and quick to implement. Overlays, messaging and content changes can be made instantly enabling tests to be carried out quickly.
Creation of custom actions enables us to bridge the gap between our online and offline tests by injecting code changes directly onto the page.
The test segmenting features are very robust, actions can be triggered by device, ip, cookie, audience type and at specific times of day allowing us to test whatever we want, when we want.
Cons
We're not using all the features of the tool, there's so much to choose from it's sometimes overwhelming. The support team however are superb and have always been able to help.
More integration with GA would be useful.
Some of the features do require some technical knowledge to implement, again support are always on hand to help.

Without Dynamic Yield we would not have been able to progress the website as quickly as we have done. Tests can go from concept to creation in under 24 hours and results can be seen in almost real-time. The Custom Action feature has been invaluable in helping expand our localised pages.
Dynamic Yield was acquired by the business specifically for the consumer facing arm.
The goal of acquiring a conversion rate optimization tool like Dynamic Yield, was to deliver a best in class tool to allow our business to deliver the best results possible. Acquiring Dynamic Yield has allowed us do deliver this! What made Dynamic Yield stand out head and shoulders above the rest, was the tool's breadth of capabilities, packaged alongside Dynamic Yield's amazing support. [This] has made it one of the best acquisitions to date.
Pros
The UI has been one of the best I have used to date, easy to use, easy to pick up and always improving.
Dynamic yield's many functions allow us to do many things - we currently have 5,000 dynamically rendered pages!
Reporting is easy to use and easy to export - and pretty self explanatory.
Cons
Dynamic Yield has the ability edit pages in a WYSIWYG method - though this can be improved (it is still very good).
Reporting is available through their dashboard - it would be great to get access to the raw data.
More content in the knowledge base ( support portal).

For us, we've used Dynamic Yield on many occasions - MVT, A/B dynamic pages, messages etc., whereby it has worked perfectly.
The best has been the rendering of 5,000 locally targeted pages, for us the resource to deliver these pages would have been years away. Being able to switch on this function within weeks of gaining the tool has been amazing.
