We use BILL Spend & Expense and divvy for our expenses and reembursements. Sounds simple but with over 150 employees and people treating partners to lunch, or doing offsites or traveling it makes it easy for us to pay for what we need and know we can easily get paid back and keep track of everything. With the divvy virtual card we can tap and pay too!

BILL Spend & Expense is very well suited when you have numerous employees/co-workers traveling for working or treating clients out for appreciation. It allows them to make expense claims easily and fast, and allows our HR team to keep track of all the expenses per employee or per team. It also good for expensing benefits.
We use Bill.com for our credit card purchases. It saves us so much time! It also integrates with Quickbooks online, so that really streamlines our work.
Pros
Vendor cards
Saves Time
Easy to use
Cons
Budgeting categories
Likelihood to Recommend
Bill.com is useful for our business because we have multiple cardholders and several vendor accounts. The system is easy to sort and categorize.
We use it for employee credit cards at all of our organizations. It works / syncs with our accounting software (Sage Intacct), and took us from processing credit card receipts being a roughly 6 person job to them being a 1 person job.
Pros
App for maintaining and monitoring credit cards is easy to use and thorough
Offers ability to send out reminders for receipts that need to be submitted
Set up restrictions for the accounts and other parameters that employees can select from
Various, unlimited approval flows for credit card receipts
Cons
Rewards can be very hard to reach which takes away from the program overall
Reminder notices aren't automatic to cardholders and you can't send reminders to approvers
Only links upload into Sage Intacct for the receipts and transactions, not the physical receipts
If you have multiple companies, you have to set everything up in each one individually
Cardholders and Approvers with multiple locations have to access each individually
Likelihood to Recommend
There is a lot of functionality available for any company, and when you combine it with their A/P processing software, I'm sure the value of the software only increases. If you don't look back through your credit card receipts often, or don't have a lot of volume, the receipts not uploading into the accounting software isn't as much of an issue. For us, with roughly $200k of credit card spending each month, it became an issue. The rewards program was hard for us to take advantage of also, mostly because of our spending being spread across multiple companies. Even though we had everything set up together as one business, they still recognized each one as it's own, with it's own rewards requirements. I wouldn't deter anyone from going with Bill Spend & Expense, it's a solid program with a lot of capability, there are just a few small items that mattered to us more than the capabilities we take advantage of.
We use Bill Spend & Expense for frequent travel employees. The Divvy card provides convenience and flexibility for Finance to manage and monitor each user's transactions in a daily basis. And we require each user to complete his or her transactions within a weekly basis. They can also issue virtual cards for different purposes.
Pros
To monitor each user's daily transactions
To adjust each user's budget at any time
To issue virtual card for different purposes
Cons
Sometime the system has errors that not able to sync transactions to financial software
mileage reimbursement only uses one rate
have to pay foreign exchange fees
Likelihood to Recommend
We have been using the Divvy card as our major company card since May 2024. All the users seem like the card. The Divvy card provides convenience and flexibility for Finance to manage and monitor each user's transactions in a daily basis. They can also issue virtual cards for different purposes.

Before we would use a google sheet template where people upload invoices, enter information in a description field and put in the accounting code from a drop-down menu accordingly. Then the AP clerk would manually input into the accounting system. With BILL, we can now sync it directly into our accounting system
Pros
Staff to enter information into a format that sync to our accounting system
Cons
The sync with our accounting system from Bill takes some work to get the fields correct.
Likelihood to Recommend
BILL is best suited to streamline the accounting process. Staff can enter their invoices, account code themselves. Also, if your accounting system is able to sync directly with BILL it saves a lot of time from the AP clerk in reentering the information. Where is less appropriate if you have an accounting system that incapable of syncing with BILL.

We use BILL Spend & Expense to manage our reimbursement process and for card spend. Almost all of our organizational spend (beyond invoices and contracts) flows through BILL. Each employee is assigned a card and we manage those cards centrally through the software.
Pros
BILL is a really user friendly system - very easy to onboard people into.
We love BILL's rewards system and the ability to redeem for travel or gift cards.
BILL offers a sync option with QuickBooks that has been invaluable for our finance processes.
Cons
I wish there were more options in the BILL reimbursement platform - for example, the ability to do a report instead of submit a single expense.
We would love for reimbursements to feed into QuickBooks differently, but we understand that this is an early feature and hope it is further developed in the future.
Likelihood to Recommend
We have a smaller team (10~ people) and BILL is perfect for us. I think the reimbursement feature would be impossible to manage for a large company, but the card spend would still be helpful. We also love the security of BILL.
Divvy is being used by the entire organization. Our organization provides some funds to clients who may not have the income to cover basic expenses. Divvy allows our case managers the ability to make purchases on behalf of clients through an electronic control structure of budgets and approvals. We also have managers who make purchases for their departments. Divvy allows us to be more flexible and efficient when it comes to expense tracking as well as gives our employees an ease of use that far surpasses our old procedures.
Pros
Divvy does purchases very well. Getting money into the hands of those who need it, when they need it.
Budgeting is a breeze because card holders can only spend what is in their specific budget or on their card.
Customer support is usually pretty quick to respond
Cons
Communication - We had a day where the authenticator on their app was down, and we received no communication, so our case managers were left out in the field high and dry trying to request funds.
Accounting controls - Divvy has built an amazing app for the end users, however they have completely forgotten us in the accounting world. There is no audit trail which is pretty standard for any accounting software
User Roles - There are currently only 3 roles, with no customization available. You're either admin with full control, owner which allows you to authorize funds, and member which you can only control your own transactions
Likelihood to Recommend
Divvy is well suited for almost any organization/business I can think of. If you need to spend money from a specific predetermined budget, Divvy works great. If you have a high volume of transactions and you're fairly decent with excel, you can create an upload file to move transactions into your general ledger (currently only QB is supported for plug ins). If I'm really trying to find a less appropriate example, maybe if you have employees who can have a large credit limit and need to travel a lot, an Amex card might have better benefits.

Divvy is being used throughout our organization. Divvy solves our problem in a couple of areas: first expense cards, second keeping to budgets, third receipt management. The use of Divvy has been a great asset to solve these issues within our company. I have seen the benefits that I also recommend it to our clients.
Pros
User Interface - simple and clean
Support - excellent
Cons
Have quick pay to pay down your balance quicker.
Integrate with Quickbooks like other credit cards.
Likelihood to Recommend
Divvy is well suited for many different organization sizes. It is a very affordable situation instead of Concur or Expensify and other expensive expense controls. It is very well suited for companies trying to get a handle on their expenses. Depending on your limits, it might be less appropriate for budgeting bigger purchases or more complex purchase orders.
Divvy is an awesome tool that is designed to help your company with tools to better manage the spending that is occurring at your company. Divvy has designed very colorful and very friendly software that is easy to use. With Divvy you have the ability to create spending budgets for departments or users. You can create custom digital credit cards that can be programmed to only work with a specific vendor and for a specific amount, which helps reduce any potential fraud that may occur. Also these cards can be easily deleted, and you will never be charged again for the product. Divvy does integrate with QuickBooks.
Pros
Digital Credit Cards with specific custom rules
Budgets for Individuals and Departments
Cons
Ability to integrate to multiple QuickBook accounts under the same Divvy account
Improvements to the on-boarding process
Likelihood to Recommend
Divvy is great for businesses that are just starting as well as for large companies. Divvy is fully customized to meet your needs no matter the size of your business. I love that they offer a lot of controls you can put into place for the users to prevent fraud and overspending. I would recommend Divvy to anyone what wants to have better controls and operations of their spending and finances.
Trek10 is using Divvy company-wide for expense management. It has really helped us minimize employee reimbursements and reduce turnaround time for the few that pop up since we chose Divvy. It also helps us track and align expenses to invoices for client SOWs. Last but not least, Divvy frees up leadership and management from day-to-day requests made by employees who previously did not hold company cards for expenses related to training, meals, and similar topics.
Pros
Divvy's support response time is impressive. The quality of support is high as well.
We have enjoyed their turnaround time for product requests and their willingness to hear and understand our user experience.
Cons
We have made them aware, and expect to see an improvement soon -- the alert system should be modifiable according to interest: product releases, declined transactions, budget adjustments, etc.
Likelihood to Recommend
Divvy is great for consulting companies because it is quite user-friendly and provides a lot of organizational flexibility concerning data, which can be requested per transaction type or budget.
