Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Customer.io to send mail, push and in-app messages to our users (active or not) with the main focus on engagement and secondly on user acquisition. Also, it allow us to integrate it to our datawarehouse and segment the users as we like
Pros
- Easy to use with the workflow map
- Easy to integrate with other applications (Redshift in our case)
- Creation of segments according events or attributes
Cons
- would be great to have an AI assistant/hepler to automate and create emails
- the translation new featurue doesn't translate too well... it has issues translating english to spanish or portuguese
Return on Investment
- we don't have it well measured but we believe Customer.io drives at least 30% of our acquisitions
