What is Conga CPQ?

Conga CPQ empowers sales, partners, and customers to efficiently configure complex products and services offerings, and provide personalized prices and quotes, utilizing codified product and pricing information - to drive higher win rates and a more pleasurable buying experience. Conga CPQ also helps to maintain a single price book, discounting structure, and quoting structure across all channels.

With an API-first approach, configuration, pricing, or quoting capabilities that can be embedded into any eCommerce, Direct Sales, and Partner Portal, the software helps to streamline configuration and pricing across the revenue lifecycle, and provide the flexibility to add CPQ capabilities to existing revenue operations at a pace that supports business needs.

With Conga CPQ, we are able to now configure, price, and quote our outsourcing solutions directly within our CRM. For use cases, CPQ helps us with pricing, volume discounts(if any) and region specific service. The workflows are now automated, which has helped to save a hefty amount of valuable time.

Pros

Great at providing a directions at configuration. Reducing errors and saves time.
CPQ handles intricate pricing logic without manual calculations quite well.
The integration with Conga CLM is remarkable and provides strong results.

Cons

I've seen some performance lags while handling heavier carts or items.
I would be really happy to see some new visual and aesthetics updates.

Return on Investment

I would say with guided selling and bundling, we are upselling more services.
I've seen a substantial amount of increase in our operational efficiency. Far less errors and manual mistakes.
Obviously, superb ROI but with that better compliance and process adherence.

We use Conga CPQ and Billing to configure pricing for Home-To-School bus routes transporting students from home to school and back again. We also use it to price shuttles and field trips. We have integrated Conga/SF with dispatch system via MSAzure to bring in daily usage quantities. We batch up all the quantities at the end of the month to create a monthly invoice for our customers. We also use Conga and SF for reporting to give insight back upstream to our bid/pricing team to standardize pricing/offerings where possible.

Conga helps Sellers to easily and quickly get quotes to the clients. In our business we use Conga CPQ with all the pricing and approval automation functions. We have several integrations with other applications and use a Microservices architecture which creates an E2E experience for the Sellers and customer advocates. Conga CPQ is used by more than 2k users currently and we achieved to build a stable environment over the last years

We use Conga CPQ to interface with our CRM solution to create quotes on behalf of the sellers, identify upsell opportunities, and drive the discounting and approval process and allow our sellers and business partners to create quotes themselves. We have eliminated hand-offs within our process, simplified workflows, and been able to maintain our own data models while utilizing Conga CPQ as the engine to price, quote, and allow sellers to update quotes real time.
