Conga CLM has been very useful for us, and we primarily use it to create, manage, and maintain contracts with our warehouse partners and our shipping partners. Earlier, there was no real clarity in terms of contracts, and we were facing major challenges in renewing the contracts, given the difficult tariff times. With the introduction of Conga CLM, all this process has been streamlined

  • Pre approved templates are very good and help us close deals and frame contracts in a much quicker way

  • There are very less customizations available within Conga CLM which could be improved
  • The Obligation management capability of Conga CLM needs more work
  • There are very less help articles available which makes it very much tricky for new users to start using the platform

  • Some of the decisions that are made when creating an agreement can cause some questions or confusion, such as how configurations "save"
  • A better way to allow for revisions that transition forward (as we have written our own revision process.)

  • The time saved for our Legal team to generate and go through redlining for customers allows us to process the create the multitude of contracts that come through the system daily quickly and correctly.

We use Conga CLM as a central nervous system for our contracting processes. Before, contract management was a pain area, digging through emails, legacy systems, and shared drives just to find the right version or clause. Now, everything’s in one place, searchable, and standardized. Especially because we have a lot of paperwork that needs to be shared with clients like invoices, BOL, POD, and more, so Conga CLM is a great match for us.

Pros

  • Contract Management is the biggest selling point. With Conga CLM, it's easy to search, audit, and reference documents.
  • Syncs beautifully with Salesforce (and some others), so contracts and customer data stay connected. Saves time and reduces manual work.
  • Live dashboards let you track contract statuses without having to dig through emails or call someone.

Cons

  • Some screens can feel cluttered, especially for new folks.
  • Creating new custom workflows can be a challenging task, we had to invest heavily on it.

Return on Investment

  • Vendor onboarding process has been so much faster and better, resulting in more buisness and revenue. It's a bit costly but has also increased our overall ROI.
  • Conga’s version control and clause consistency helped us to reduce the post signing disputes. That’s saved us a few awkward calls and trouble.
