I need a tool where I can put all my tasks in a simple way and take notes about them. I manage a lot of things and I need to order my mind writing down everything so I don't forget anything. ClickUP is really good at showing tasks and details about each one. Even relations between them, so I feel I'm in control.
Pros
Task Management
The user interface is friendly
Multiple user views so you use the one you like.
Cons
The mobile app is ok, but can be better
The screen shows a lot of information, which is good, but until you get used to it, it may be overwhelming
Recurring tasks are not much intuitive

I think task management software may be really deep in options, but most people only use the surface. So the surface must be really good. I think ClickUp is good in the generic task management in any team. Just for one to keep track of things, or teams where tasks are delegated.
Our company is a marketing, advertising, and consulting agency, but we also handle a lot of the project management for our clients. ClickUp has changed the way we track deliverables, schedules, and assignments for each of our clients -- ClickUp has also changed the way each individual team member organizes their own priorities and assignments. With our previous software, the functions and features were not all in one place, so we were using 3-4 different applications just to have the required features. With ClickUp, we now have all our desired features in one place. We have only used ClickUp since the beginning of 2025, and we are just scratching the surface in terms of the capabilities and features of ClickUp, and it has already changed the way our company operates.
Pros
Ability to track progress of specific projects or assignments, while still tracking the progress of a major project as a whole.
Assigning and delegating work - ClickUp makes it easy for each team member to track what is due and when, while also seeing the details or subtasks for each assignment.
ClickUp allows for us to edit, modify, and re-build documents right inside of the app, while also keeping a track record of previous edits and updates.
Cons
ClickUp could offer a guest access, specifically for clients who want to know progress or details of a project, without having to add as a new user or pay for access.
ClickUp has room for improvement with the capabilities of the Personal List, as of right now subtasks are not able to be directly added to a Personal List, which makes the upkeep of the personal list tricky when the project is large and there are many subtasks that have the importance of a regular task.
The notification settings could be modified, but more in detail. The user should be able to specifically customize what they get notified for, and what they don't. The current settings are in depth, but I still find myself being notified for projects or activity that I am not involved in, and the settings do not allow for me to specifically remove myself from those notifications.

ClickUp is well suited for a company like ours, with multiple clients and multiple moving pieces on a daily basis. ClickUp offers an interface that keeps everything in one central location, which is extremely helpful when our company has 4+ clients, each of them having specific statuses, projects, timelines or deadlines, and lists. ClickUp has changed the way our company operates, and we are just at the starting line in terms of the capabilities of ClickUp.
We had a lot of problems with the management and communication of our digital agency team. Everything was confusing. No one knew what, how and when a certain task should be done. We didn't have deadlines or clear project organization, which resulted in the loss of several clients. Tired of being buried in the operational side of things and constantly putting out fires, we decided to look for management tools to solve this problem. We tried Trello, Notion, Asana, Monday... but there was always some feature missing to monitor the team's performance, especially communication. Until we discovered ClickUp by watching videos on YouTube. We understood that using just one complete tool is much better than using several. Before, we used Trello to control tasks and Google Chat for communication. It was chaos because we needed to use 2 tools at the same time (and Trello was extremely limited). With ClickUp, I can manage my team's performance and communication efficiency in one place. Using one tool for all of this is much simpler and more practical for me (as a leader and manager) and for my employees.
Pros
Centralização da comunicação
Centralization of communication
Customization of the management structure according to needs
Cons
Add new people to meetings that are already in progress
Record meetings within ClickUp
Gravar as reunioes dentro do clickup
connection with whatsapp to manage leads within the CRM in ClickUp

ClickUp is not suitable for teams that do not have management maturity and minimal organization. Although ClickUp is extremely efficient and complete, it is not easy to understand the logic of the tool right away. I myself implement ClickUp for marketing agencies, and all of them always have difficulty using the system at first. The learning curve is relatively long, around 1 month. Another point is that it is complex to implement a CRM in ClickUp for companies that depend on email marketing, message automation, etc.
Our team uses ClickUp to help organize customer information and projects. We create task lists to assign team members parts per projects. It allows us to share project assets and information in one easy to find place.
Pros
team and project managment
customizability
asset and information sharing
Cons

ClickUp has been intuitive and is greatly customizable to meet our team's unique needs.
We use ClickUp daily across a team of 11 people. It’s our central hub for managing people, planning projects, handling HR processes, and keeping clients informed. The main problem it solves is fragmentation—before ClickUp, we used multiple tools for task tracking, communication, and planning. Now it’s all in one place, which saves time, reduces errors, and gives us much better visibility into what’s going on across the business. The scope of our use includes both internal operations and client-facing work.
Pros
Keeping things tidy and organized
Everything in one tool
Tracking is on point
Cons
The speed of implementation of customer feedback
Some major bugs are still on platform
Lacks some really basic features

It's less apropriate from small team or singlar person, because its too complex for small operations. Other than that, I think it's really one of the best tools there is
We use ClickUp for many reasons. From following our social media post, to posting new stories on our platform, to the sales department and the tech development of the company, we do it all on ClickUp! With the possibility to create automations to make sure we don't forget to do anything to centralize documentation and development decision, ClickUp has help us move forward and not forget important details. Easy to use and with some great client support, we can get done everything we need and exploring new ways to work is easy and does not disturb our current work flow. Last but not least, with the regular release of new feature and improvement, you can always improve your efficiency without having to spend time creating new processes.
Pros
Making sure you can create the workflow that fit your company, your team, and your brain.
Communicating new releases and bug fixing.
Developing what the users want and need.
Updating their feature to improve efficiency and usability.
Cons
As automation are great, some options are missing sometimes (for example, a "remove from a list" option in the action to be done).
In spaces, creating a folder in a folder, I would love to separate all my files and list in subfolders.
Sometimes, I work at the same time as my colleague on the same list, but we need so see different status. But she sees the change I do and I open and collapse a status and vice versa.
Sometimes, this makes it difficult to stay focus as what I see changes.

What ever you need a reminder of, or a follow-up on, you can create a specialized way to do so that will fit your way of thinking and your way of working. Whatever your process, you can make it tangible and specific using all of ClickUp's features. Then you can start improving your way of working to become more efficient or simply not lose track of anything anymore !

We use ClickUp as a work management platform. Out team tracks all of our tasks on the platform and are able to prioritize and visualize what needs to get done within the next day, week, 2 weeks, or month. As consultants, it's really helpful to be able to sort our tasks by client project and easily filter views for either people or project. We also use a wide range of automations such as slack.
Pros
Flexibility
Automation
Customization
Cons
Visualization of success (scoreboards)

I think ClickUp is really well suited for small teams that need to be agile. It can also be useful for organizations that would like to store documents, and build work processes for certain departments. I'm unsure how useful it is at the enterprise or large-organization level.
I use ClickUp daily to manage my tasks within our 30+ person team of remote employees. We collaborate easily on tasks, I log my time daily, I keep notes for all client meetings, and even use the platform as a creative project database. I can easily search for data and tag/include data in my notes within the platform as well.
Pros
Multiple Uses
Great for Agency Collaboration
Ability to Link Internally
Cons
Glitches with Mobile App
Bugs on Desktop App

ClickUp is perfect for an agency or larger team. I would not recommend it for a single person team. It's amazing to use when collaborating in multiple departments to accomplish one goal.
I use ClickUp everyday to track my work time, track the advance on an specific project, to assign tasks to other co-workers, to see my future tasks and see if I can go ahead with any of those, to see project descriptions and briefs, sometimes to communicate with clients, to receive and give feedback and some others.
I think ClickUp helps me a lot to have a more organized day and to know each co-worker role on any task. Also to have a great overview of what is supposed to be done now and next days! It's my everyday tool to complete a successful work day
Pros
Time tracking
Depending tasks so those unblock when the previous one is marked as done
Privacy settings
Dashboards to track your or another person day
Cons
It's not necessary easy to set some things like the task flow
Likelihood to Recommend
It's the most complete tool I know for a work environment, also for personal projects could be really useful. It's great to have separate "worlds" between the company and the clients. If you have a project with different steps it's good to assign each step to the person you want.
We use ClickUp at our SEO agency for project and task management, tracking team schedules (holiday, WFH days, etc.) and to collaborate on documents.
Pros
Task/item organisation across calendars, lists & kanbans
Dashboards to collate data from workspaces
Task tracking & to do lists for our team
Overview of team's workloads
Collaborates with Google Drive & Slack to improve tool integration
Cons
Make Chat a true replacement for Slack
Make the Google Drive integration less time consuming (i.e. directly access files without needing to login each time, easier to search for files, etc.)
Easier to access chat features for workspace members

Any kind of marketing agency with more than 3 team members who work on a variety of different projects. It's been exceptionally useful for our SEO agency, but I think this could apply to many types of agencies or other digital teams who need to bring tasks into a centralised system and share workloads.
