Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
We use ClickUp for many reasons. From following our social media post, to posting new stories on our platform, to the sales department and the tech development of the company, we do it all on ClickUp! With the possibility to create automations to make sure we don't forget to do anything to centralize documentation and development decision, ClickUp has help us move forward and not forget important details. Easy to use and with some great client support, we can get done everything we need and exploring new ways to work is easy and does not disturb our current work flow. Last but not least, with the regular release of new feature and improvement, you can always improve your efficiency without having to spend time creating new processes.
Pros
- Making sure you can create the workflow that fit your company, your team, and your brain.
- Communicating new releases and bug fixing.
- Developing what the users want and need.
- Updating their feature to improve efficiency and usability.
Cons
- As automation are great, some options are missing sometimes (for example, a "remove from a list" option in the action to be done).
- In spaces, creating a folder in a folder, I would love to separate all my files and list in subfolders.
- Sometimes, I work at the same time as my colleague on the same list, but we need so see different status. But she sees the change I do and I open and collapse a status and vice versa.
- Sometimes, this makes it difficult to stay focus as what I see changes.
- Ever since we started using ClickUp, we've had a lot less repetitive meeting in which we repeat the decision or the information already discussed. We get to move forward at each new meeting instead of reliving the same one.
- Automation helps me remember to do my part of the tasks after my colleague has done his. This saves a lot of time in the communication and waiting around because I didn't get the confirmation. When the automation hits, it, mean it's my turn!
- With the heavy documentation we can create, we created a full onboarding document, so our new employees have everything they need to set up their environment. We do not have to repeat over and over again the same process. They can figure it out on their own.
- And because it is so easy to amend, we update it with every new arrival!
The communication between department and the follow-up on each other project has been a great hell;p in keeping every one focus on priorities. The visibility you can give your team and the communication has really helped us create a movement that keeps all of us involve in the development.
When a task ends, it usually means that someone else a new task. Thanks to automation, we don't really need to think about it anymore. ClickUp sends the task for me, so I don't forget to pass it on! Mixing automation and kanban workflow. I only see the task when it's my turn to act, so I don't have to worry about if I'm missing something, and I don't have to look! It will be assigned to me when I have something to do, and it will appear in my workflow environment.
