Celonis is perfect for all the core processes. It is perfect to show how to generate economic value. There is no evident weakness from my point of view.
We are a corporation that uses a single Recruitment Process Outsourcing instance. Celonis is a fantastic tool for revealing the inconsistencies in our procedures. These differences can arise for a variety of causes, but Celonis provides an OBJECTIVE perspective on what are frequently SUBJECTIVE "feels like" situations. This impartiality enables the prioritization of prospects and the development of a business case for products that must be moved to different clients.
Pros
Fast closure of candidate sourcing
Process for analyzing candidate with various skills
Complete analysis of Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO)
Cons
It's a little difficult, but not impossible, to run the software in a production environment.
Configuration management like versioning can also be improved.
If there is a room for reducing the cost based on storage, it would be good.
Likelihood to Recommend
Celonis is ideal for the recruitment process, which involves individuals applying, interviewing, being offered, and accepting positions. Celonis also allows the HR department to manage the data from the recruitment process, allowing them to track the speed of the process and understand why candidates drop out. Celonis examines the efficacy of HR systems, how they respond to employee requests, and who is in charge of specific activities.
We have been implementing Celonis for several of our clients. We are currently working on building out our practice, so we are developing Sales Demos for our existing clients to prove the value of implementing Celonis.
Pros
Easy user interface when it comes to integrating data
Excellent training and support for new implementers
Robust analytics that are visually appealing to client
Cons
Service desk is vague and not helpful until it is escalated
Documentation available on the web needs to be more robust.. more blogs, discussions, etc
Likelihood to Recommend
I would recommend the software for any client that wants more insights into their business process. If they are interested in deep analytics on an end-to-end process Celonis allows for clear visualization and analysis.
Celonis is our process mining partner to understand our happy paths in the process flows for our business-critical functions. This has allowed us to measure our current levels, identify opportunities for improvements and bring in excellence by removing nonvalue add processes. It is really helpful in control phases and moving towards the simplistic organization.
Pros
Process mining
Reporting and insights
execution apps and action engines
Cons
more flexibility in new app customizations
better end user friendly customizations
Penetration matrix to identify use of the tool
Likelihood to Recommend
Process mining is well suited. Productivity management is less suited as it is focused on ERP timelines.
The complexity of our
processes and the amount of data we work within our daily business is
constantly growing. The existing solutions alone are not enough to give us
insights into our processes with the necessary level of detail. Therefore, we
implemented Celonis for our P2P and AP process to create transparency about our
processes and KPIs. This enables us to expand our data basis and strengthen
fact-based decisions.
Pros
quick and well-presented analysis of large amounts of data
see the process from start to finish (with all its variants)
discover unexpected potential
Cons
Creating charts and dashboards requires coding and is therefore dependent on external consulting
Potential savings are not as easy to achieve as it might seem due to marketing
Likelihood to Recommend
Celonis provides us quickly with user-friendly and very detailed
information about our processes and KPIs, which we can then analyze down to the
individual case. This transparency creates a basis for fact-based
decision-making. However, it takes a lot of time and resources to add value.

We leverage Celonis to demonstrate and prove out how our software solutions can optimize our customer's workflow processes, specifically within the service and incident management space. Through the process explorer from Celonis, we can map out a customer's current service and incident management processes and demonstrate where there are opportunities to improve on their KPIs by identifying areas of inefficiencies. Furthermore, it gives us the ability to visualize and quantify the potential impact on the customer and translate that into actionable steps for them.
Pros
Process mapping and visualization
ROI modeling
Reporting and Metrics
Cons
There's a learning curve to using Celonis, so perhaps providing guided step by step instructions would benefit users that are not as experienced with the platform
Accessing learning materials right within the platform instead of having to access a separate portal
Sample workflows in a library that you can customize instead of creating one from scratch
Likelihood to Recommend
Celonis would be very well suited in scenarios where a user or organization has a clear understanding of their existing processes for a particular workflow, and are looking to visualize and model different events or demonstrate to other stakeholders potential opportunities for process improvements. Conversely, Celonis may not be best suited in immature or smaller organizations that are less process-driven and less departmentalized.

Celonis provides a wide variety of solutions regarding process mining. They are always available to help you on implementing and changing the culture in your company. We are always looking to increase processes and [lead] continuous improvement with Celonis. Right now we are addressing and improving processes in our Operations Department
Pros
Great visibility into your organisation data
Finding bottlenecks become easier
Ease on creating analyses that could lead to big changes
Way of reducing cost and reduce wastes
Cons
Lack of methodology already defined that shows the way
Likelihood to Recommend
Best suited: Giving visibility and data that help [create] KPIs that leads to better decision making in what is more important to give priority regarding processes Less appropriate: Developing so many features at all time that lead the client to feel a bit lost sometimes.
We use Celonis for our OTC process. This has grown historically and is therefore not entirely comprehensible/transparent in many process steps. With Celonis, we are looking for high manual effort to automate this in order to manage growth with a similar staff structure. Often manual activities are performed, which later lead to disruptions in the process, because data was missing or wrong. Currently we are able to transparently show manual changes / rework and question the meaningfulness. The current main goal is to get transparency in the departments and to question certain activities. Something that would take up an enormous amount of time through workshops etc.
Pros
Strong customer focus (e.g. Consulting)
Product functionality and performance
Continuous further development of the products
Cons
sometimes a bit difficult to get all information about products, meetings etc.
Likelihood to Recommend
To explain it with a quote: "Our company is not used to so much professionalism from a supplier". You don't just buy the product and be left alone afterward. Celonis tries to position the product in the company (e.g. Roles & Responsibility, Operating Model, Health Checks), which has left a more than positive impression especially on us. Questions/issues can be addressed directly with Celonis employees (Success Manager), i.e. neither ticket creation nor e-mail ping pong takes place.
The whole Celonis
team is very helpful in making sure we are getting value from the
Software. The team response very [quickly to] the questions I always get help and they set up meetings and create slides for the business problems I had. The Team is every time high motivated.
Pros
Quick response time form the team
Powerful software to get knowledge about your process
Cons
An Upload function/addon for large CSV file
Likelihood to Recommend
Celonis a really good tool to analyze all processes in a company. You can create a lot of analyze dashboards with KPIs and discover the throughput time between activities. In the end, you can improve and optimize the process!
