We used Buffer to schedule social posts on Twitter and Facebook. It allowed us to forward plan content for out of office working hours, specific company announcements and other key calendar moments.
Pros
Multi user.
Calendar scheduling.
Preview.
Cons
Toggle between FB and Twitter can be confusing.
Drag and drop scheduling would be useful.
Could be more in tune with FB algorithm, making suggested posting times, etc.

When we had freelancers working it was great that it was so easy to use and they could pick up where the team left off.
As I am a part of the marketing team and I look after the digital presence of my company, Buffer has really helped me out with that. After designing the uploading part has become so easy, in a single go I can post on different platforms. As I use various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Quora, Pinterest... this platform has really helped me to [keep] up with that.
Pros
Allows you to schedule you post on multiple platforms at once.
Not only just posting, you can also see the response of the posts on the multiple platforms on a single dashboard...which is actually one of my favourite features.
A single dashboard of response helps me a lot to analyse my digital strategies and to make what is actually working and whatnot.
Helps to check the engagement level of the posts through which we can analyse and set up new strategies for future perspective.
Cons
One [improvement] I would say is that I feel is that there is no research-oriented option like I cannot get to know the trending hashtag n other trending searches.
It is just for posting and sharing analysis of the post... [It] does not really help [by suggesting] what is trending which can actually help to boost the post organically.

If you want to post the same post on multiple platforms, then I would genuinely recommend you to go for it because it will make your life easy. Using Buffer actually helps you in various ways, like you do not have to individually at every platform for posting, you can just use it to link your [accounts] to this software and post easily. Even you can also see the response of that post on multiple platforms in a single dashboard... This is the best advantage of this software. It is just I think you have to be well-[informed] about what you are posting and about present trends and hashtags because this software doesn't suggest anything to you but just shows the facts and figures of your posts.
I use Buffer as a small business. Upon looking at other competitors, Buffer has been the best small business option. The starter plan is only $15 and the various features of Buffer are split up in terms of cost. This means we don't need to pay for what we don't use.
Pros
Social Media scheduling
Analytics
Community management
Cons
Workflow management
It can become very costly if you add all the features together.

For a small business or business wanting to use only certain features, Buffer is perfect. The user experience is great and far superior to any of Buffer's competitors. I find it easy to use and all in all a great software.
The agency that manages our social accounts uses Buffer to manage the social calendar and scheduling of posts. We use it to review and approve content and will add posts to the calendar as well. This is being used by our marketing department and allows us to schedule posts months in advance.
Pros
Scheduling
Provides great previews of what the posts will look like once posted.
Easily allows you to see whats in the queue for each channel.
Cons
Don't have any recommendations for improvement.

It's comparable to most social management platforms. It's not over complicated and easy to use. It doesn't do anything particularly better than other platforms either.
I user Buffer for my personal social media accounts to schedule posts throughout the day. I also encourage co-workers to use Buffer as a way to share content throughout the day, so the content they want to share is not pushed out all at the same time.
Pros
Incredibly easy to use; very intuitive
Awesome mobile app
Browser plug-in makes for easy sharing
Ability to post to multiple social networks
Cons
Would love for Buffer to set up my schedule automatically, based on prior posts popularity. I know there is a plug in/partner to help with this, but I'd rather Buffer do it for me
Integration w/ Tweetbot

Buffer is a fantastic free tool for people who want to share content on social media, but want to space it out throughout the day. Free version does not have enough team support functionality, but that's available in the paid version.
Buffer significantly helps us schedule our social media posts and also plan our feeds across multiple platforms which is critical since we use several social media channels.
Pros
Scheduling and posting scheduled posts
Highly intuitive user interface
Analyzes post performance clearly and visually
Cons
Functionality overall is fairly basic compared to other platforms
Limitations in handling certain content types like Reels and certain carousel posts
Provides top line analytics but doesn’t go super in depth
Likelihood to Recommend
It’s great for run of the mill scheduling and planning and for providing high level performance overviews to clients. For businesses requiring advanced social media management capabilities, comprehensive reporting, or extensive team collaboration features, Buffer may feel limiting compared to enterprise-level alternatives.
