What is BHN Rewards?

BHN Rewards (formerly Rybbon) is a solution for sending, tracking, and managing digital rewards programs. BHN Rewards enables users to incorporate automated rewards to boost engagement, increase response rates, generate brand recognition and loyalty, and motivate employees.

The BHN Rewards account dashboard tracks overall rewards program, and monitors the incentives budget -- including refunds for unclaimed rewards.
BHN Rewards is transparent and provides visibility into campaigns in one central portal, allowing it to scale to users needs as a program grows. It provides real-time status updates on all reward deliveries.
When there are recipients in multiple countries, BHN Rewards' Smart Global Rewards can automate delivery of rewards in each location. BHN Rewards detects the recipient's country and automatically offers a curated list of rewards available there and converts them to the correct currency.
BHN Rewards can customize the rewards email and redemption page with the user's own branding and messaging. Rewards emails are delivered from the user's own authorized domain, rather than a spoofed address.
BHN Rewards connects with many of the survey, research, and marketing tools, including Microsoft Teams, Marketo, HubSpot, SurveyMonkey, and Qualtrics.

Rybbon Made Survey Incentivizing a Breeze!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used Rybbon at my last company to award points to community members. It was integrated with both our CRM, Hubspot as well as our survey software, Alchemer (formerly Survey Gizmo). The automation was great, it was seamless to award points for survey completion or through workflows in Hubspot. As well as the automatic point redemption - once our members hit 1,000 points they were able to redeem for a gift card of their choosing. It made incentives a breeze and the range of rewards available was great. The reporting was great as well - being able to see points awarded versus redeemed broken out over time was helpful for our accounting.

We use Rybbon exclusively for delivering incentives for completing our on-line surveys. Using Rybbon increases our survey response rate significantly.

Great choice for international user research teams

We used Rybbon as our primary way of compensating user research participants. Rybbon lets us send digital gift card vouchers to people in almost any country and they can redeem it for rewards that work in their region. We had a team of about 40 researchers using it and several other designers who often ran user research sessions.

  • Easy to add recipients individually or in bulk through a CSV
  • Good customer support

Cons

  • The main dashboard is not very useful for tracking your activity and spending
  • Website didn't seem super reliable. Would see downtime occasionally.
  • You can export reports to Excel but better built in reporting would be nice

  • Using the paid plan where you pre-pay fees up front definitely saved us money in the long run
  • It's a lot quicker and more manageable than using PayPal or Amazon gift cards
  • Their support team has probably also saved us time by helping recipients who have trouble redeeming cards instead of us having to do it

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Rybbon to compensate research participants. I like that it manages and tracks utilization, clearly shows our fund usages, and allows participants to select a reward of their choosing. The ability to select from a wide range of possible rewards (donations, gift cards to a range of vendors) is a big draw for participants. It also tracks funds for accountability.

We use Rybbon to incentivize customers to provide feedback on our software and to gather an NPS score. We chose Rybbon because of its integration with the survey software we utilize. Rybbon made it extremely simple to reward survey respondents with a gift card of choice and it helped the response rates of our surveys improve immensely.
