BHN Rewards vs. Tango Card

I think Rybbon is a very good choice for a UX or Market research team. It's generally easy to use, easy to send gifts to almost any country, and their customer support is great. The only real weakness is in the reporting and dashboard. You'll have to do pretty much all of it in Excel. So unless that's very important to you, I can't really think of a better option than Rybbon.

Works great for market research, and for large batches of fulfillment. Where it shines most for me is in the international realm. We do tracking studies across dozens of countries and this has been a great help for us in making those studies feasible.

• Rybbon's integration with survey platforms like Qualtrics are a major plus
• Gift cards can be international, very important for any global company

• Tango Card makes it easy to allow for multiple gift card options
• Tango Card allows for excel imports of respondents, which keeps things nice and simple

• The main dashboard is not very useful for tracking your activity and spending
• Website didn't seem super reliable. Would see downtime occasionally.
• You can export reports to Excel but better built in reporting would be nice

• The initial setup of the API with all the ACH info was a bit complicated.
• The only speedbump (not big concern) is the branding of a Tango Card - when saying that to recipients, they don't "get it" immediately and some quick-to-judgement folks can say they don't want it.

Giving it a 9 only because I haven't been using it for more than 6 months but that said, I've had enough projects and redemptions to get a full understanding of its performance. TANGO CARD just works better than the rest for the redemption experience for the end recipient.

Both are good products, I honestly have no complaints with either of them. Rybbon's integration with Qualtrics is a definite plus.

I was an unfortunate recipient of funds via a Tango Card... Hopefully, there will be a resolution with the returned funds (due to the shipping issue.) The FAQ says otherwise... will be interesting to see how Tango responds

• Using the paid plan where you pre-pay fees up front definitely saved us money in the long run
• It's a lot quicker and more manageable than using PayPal or Amazon gift cards
• Their support team has probably also saved us time by helping recipients who have trouble redeeming cards instead of us having to do it

• Tango Card has increase our overall response counts
• By doing so, some of our board KPIs are better measured
