This has reduced the amount of programs that we need to use and gives our an employees one place to go for PTO requests, view company announcements and view our company org. chart.

Use this for HRIS, ATS, Benefits administration and Performance. BambooHR helped streamline a bunch of HR processes such a recruiting, onboarding, and benefits enrollment, where before everything we did was manual.

BambooHR is great if you are starting out or have a simple business structure.
I am an HR Consultant and I have implemented BambooHR with 5 of my clients. Three of them, I use BambooHR regularly to help them with onboarding, hiring, payroll, etc. I find the platform very user friendly, customer service is amazing and employee can easily navigate using the platform. It's a wonderful HRIS system!

Our company utilizes Bamboo for all of our employees daily. It allows our employees to clock in and out, request time off throughout the year, send write-ups to employees, and make announcements to all of our staff very easily. Before we started using Bamboo, we were not doing everything digitally.

In the past we had issues with Time off request not being submitted or a method to track them properly. Our employees would request off but the request off would be loss, or we would have multiple employees out at a time, Bamboo shows us who all on our team is out when the new time off request comes through.
I use Bamboo for various reasons. The calendar allows me to see employees in and out of the office. I can see whose birthdays and anniversaries are coming up and must be celebrated. I also use bamboo to check my hours and to see if there are any discrepancies with my paycheck or anything of that nature. I also enjoy how I can be notified of new hires, and it categorizes it as a to-do item, which is pretty cool. Once the task is completed, it can be checked off the to-do list. There are all types of cool things on bamboo. I have to mess around with it a little.

My current company uses Bamboo as a true HRIS and ATS system. We also use it for employee engagement, including Goal setting and performance reviews. It is beneficial to have all employee information and data in one platform. Also, the notifications to remind you of birthdays and anniversaries, announce new hires and generate reports are engaging.

I actually implemented BambooHR at my last company, and when I came to this company, I was thrilled to know they were using BambooHR since I am familiar with it. I've taught them a lot about the system and how to grow and scale it to the company's needs. Working in two different countries, it would be nice to separate the employees easily with some system differentiator for sending out updated forms, reports, and announcements. I want to send announcements only to the U.S. population (which is easy to do), but then I want to add a few people from other countries for the message's visibility. Bamboo does not have the functionality to add individual names, which is frustrating. This would have been a beneficial option with Announcements and setting up a custom access level.
We use BambooHR to keep track of all our employees personal information, their job and pay history, managing time off, onboarding and offboarding, employee satisfaction and review surveys, and we recently started using Employee Community to create interest groups to encourage social connections in the workplace. We also frequently use the reports feature to compile data on our company.

In Employee Community I would like to see more functionality in the groups, such as the ability to reply to certain comments, tag certain people, more reaction buttons, etc. We currently also use Google chat and we enjoy the extra options there.
I would like the ability to search through the help topics more thoroughly with keywords. Sometimes I can't find what I am looking for until I reach out to customer service and they send me a link to the appropriate help page.
I would like the ability to create documents for signature templates in BambooHR. In the past, I have uploaded PDFs and gone through creating complicated signature templates only to find a typo or other small mistake on the original form, which meant that I had to go back to my original document, upload a new PDF form, and redo all the work. Our company is constantly trying to improve our processes and it would be nice to have the option to tweak certain parts of a form without having to redo an entire signature template.

BambooHR is the first HR platform I have experience with but it is vastly better than a more traditional file cabinet where each employee has a file with their information. I appreciate the excellent customer service and how the platform is constantly improving. We cannot utilize the payroll options because our current needs are more complicated than what Bamboo HR can handle, but for a smaller business with simpler needs, BambooHR would be a perfect all-around tool.
We are a house painting company on the West Coast, and BambooHR has made administrative functions seamless and easy. Payroll used to take a week of spreadsheets and cross-checking numbers, and now it's done in less than 30 minutes. Customer service has been so helpful, and they have so many resources for learning the platform and customizing it to your business needs. There are reports for everything: time tracking options, benefits implementation, and more. I don't think I could function in the office without it at this point. And the cost of services is wildly reasonable. I'd recommend BambooHR to any small business looking to streamline administrative functions.

We use BambooHR for all our HR onboarding, offboarding, and HR files. We also utilize BambooHR to track all of our time off. It also keeps track of all the PTO balances for every employee. We love the program so much, and we have all 215 employees on board to use it, even those who hate any form of technology. It has been a fantastic upgrade for us in the HR world. There is room for improvement with all systems, but BambooHR has been a major upgrade for our company. We went from another digital onboarding process that was super clunky and not always easy to use to BambooHR. I have managers who do not like technology and now love the ease of using BambooHR for their needs.
I use BambooHR for the employee life cycle, onboarding, offboarding, PTO. It helps us keep track of all PTO taken, employee changes, annual reviews, applicant tracking etc. We also use the dashboard to house all links that leads to frequently used forms for employee reimbursements as well as links to get to outside websites necessary for employee changes.

BambooHR is great for all things HR in my opinion. I think it is very user friendly for admins as well as employees that have less permissions. I wish the time tracking system was a bit more robust so that we could use that function. BambooHR has lots of nice functionality and I love that we can use the mobile app to download employee contact information to our phones, making it easy to be able to contact anyone within our organization.
