We use Apollo.io for lead generation and sequence building. Apollo.io is able to create targeted lead lists based on a whole host of filters. We have been very pleased with the results so far and the platform is much more advanced than other outreach softwares we have used in the past.

Lead generation based on specific target filters or similar companies is fantastic. Great for larger organizations that do lots of outbound. Too advanced for smaller companies.
We use it for sales and outreach for things like email automation, finding prospects contact information, etc. Some people use it to make calls out of directly, but most people still use Orum because it is faster and and works better. We replaced outreach with Apollo.

I would not recommend Apollo to any colleague. I would recommend that they stick with Outreach because of the ease of use and simplicity of it. The dialer in Apollo really isn't great either, so I wouldn't recommend it for a dialer.

Furthermore, I need a reliable interface to my CRM that provides constant updates in case of changes. AI is a must-have for highly personalized and accurate results.

Great tool for a start-up sales motion. Prospecting, data validation, CRM, sequences, calls, and deal management all in one place. Also, the setup is ridiculously easy. I also have a lot of experience with prospecting and CRM tools, but still. Really impressed with it overall. Also got a call with support 1:1, which was really appreciated. Good for sales startups, but perhaps not as effective once you have a full-blown sales team. Not sure what else to write here, it's very similar to my previous feedback. Good for start-ups and keeping all the costs in one platform. I do wish it were less buggy, but it's good. thank you.
I really like how easy Apollo is to use and how much easier it makes the whole outreach process! Just add your preferences and filters and you're good to go! I also like that it does all the follow up for you and I am always surprised how many good leads are in the tool! I have recommended it to a few people now, and they love it as well.

I´m using Apollo to research prospects, save them in a list, and push them to our CRM system. Furthermore, I´m doing email outreach via Apollo sequences. All in all, I´m very satisfied with the data quality and the fast responses of the customer service desk. The sequence feature could be a bit more advanced, but for the price, the value makes sense to me.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money but want a working, trustworthy service, Apollo works well. Phone numbers are only a good fit for 80% of cases, but other tools, like Surfe, are performing better. Also, the data could be updated more often. Sometimes, leads have changed their job a few weeks ago, but it takes a while for it to be updated in Apollo.

Please adjust the Sequence tasks to focus on the person. For example, after completing a call task, it should move on to the email task for the same person. Also, the switching time is too slow—it often takes a long time, or sometimes doesn’t switch at all.
