We use it for sales and outreach for things like email automation, finding prospects contact information, etc. Some people use it to make calls out of directly, but most people still use Orum because it is faster and and works better. We replaced outreach with Apollo.

I would not recommend Apollo to any colleague. I would recommend that they stick with Outreach because of the ease of use and simplicity of it. The dialer in Apollo really isn't great either, so I wouldn't recommend it for a dialer.

Please adjust the Sequence tasks to focus on the person. For example, after completing a call task, it should move on to the email task for the same person. Also, the switching time is too slow—it often takes a long time, or sometimes doesn’t switch at all.

The basic design of Sequences is the same as other platforms, but Outreach is easier to use.
I use Apollo.io to find the company email address of recruiters and workers at certain companies such as Wells Fargo, Blackstone, and JP Morgan. You are not able to get this information simply off LinkedIn where you can find a decent amount of information on individuals. Using this access to their emails, I am able to cold-email and connect with corporate workers and experts--something that would not be possible for me without the utilization of Apollo.io.

I am looking to network, so I needed to do cold-emailing. By using Apollo.io to find the email of people from LinkedIn, I was able to email them. After linking my inbox, I was able to email the person directly from Apollo.io website and keep track of all the cold emails I have sent; this is useful because emails can get lost in my normal inbox due to spam and other mail.
I have used many tools over the years and Apollo is one the few standing out. I use it to gather information on prospects and companies. It is an easy tool to use.
The one thing that could be improved is working in accordance of GDPR rules in Europe, this would provide me with a higher hitrate on the searched for details - and would make it even better.

It's well suited when I'm wanting to gather a list of contacts that is in the niche that I'm targeting. It's always useful to filter out what contacts to reach out to and what contacts to not engage with. This is where Apollo.io makes the difference. The sales platform itself is easy to use and I like the idea of having all sorts of features in 1 platform.
We used Apollo.io for lead generation purpose, and cold mailing using the sequence feature in Apollo.io. Apollo.io really helped in providing us the information contacts more over with personalization options through filtering features, it really help a lot in lead generation necessary for business development, and at the same time, automation features from the sequences really help in saving so many times for sending partnership mails

Salespeople are able to easily contact key people at prospect companies, and CRM admins can easily input and certify data regarding said companies' key info: Revenue, head count, location, and more.

Also the software allows us to add notes on each contact in the address book and database we have, in order to identify customers faster.
I like that we can divide the database into several sections such as clients and potential clients and thus differentiate the contacts.

The system tends to slow down when exporting data and does not allow any other action when in that process.
We have had problems with some integrations and problems using the software and the technical service has not been helpful, they have not provided us with a solution and we had to solve the problem with an external technician.
It would be a great help if the software could provide more information about the data of the clients that enter the web page, in this way we could capture clients through the page.
