Our home health agency really appreciates the simplicity of Alora Home Health Software. We like that we can customize items that we need to for our specific field. We are able to send and receive faxes from here that are easily saved into the patient's chart. It is very helpful and a time saver that it does scan for errors and warnings within the OASIS. We are also enjoying that it is cloud based so that we can see information in real time rather than having to sync every so often. We have had a wonderful trainer who has gone above and beyond to make sure that we understand the software and answers any questions that we have fairly quickly.
Pros
One on one training even after the live training is completed, if needed.
Provides real time information, rather than having to sync information over several times a day.
It is very customizable for each agency.
Cons
It would be nice if there were some sort of alert when an incoming fax has arrived. Sort of like a ding or a bell notification at the top similar to an email, rather than having to go check every so often. We appreciate being very responsive.
If we were able to customize every single section for each type of visit, that would be very helpful as we have noticed that we would like more details in some places and less in others.
During initial training, going through each type of visit together from start to finish would be helpful. Addressing every single scenario that might happen, such as recerts or discharges. I think doing several of those from start to finish together would be beneficial as repetition is key.

Some of the areas seem like they are more hospital based, so maybe having different divisions of the software, being only home care or hospice, or only hospital might make it even more individualized. Overall, we do appreciate simplicity, but we do have to have a very clear picture of our skill that we are seeing a patient for. If there is not very specific information other than basic check boxes, we risk insurance denial. So at this time we rely on writing very detailed notes in order to avoid this.

I use Alora Home Health Software every day to help me with running my business and making sure I'm staying in state compliance. I love Alora Home Health Software, the system is so user friendly and really helps me keep track of all my employees and their credentials. I love how they help keep track of all my clients and their insurance, doctors, hospital records, and more. However, the Alora Home Health Software app could stand an update as it can glitch sometimes, but for the most part, Alora Home Health Software works really hard at fixing any glitch in a very timely manner.
I am a nurse and use the software daily in my workplace. As an organization, we have had a positive support experience when working with Alora Home Health Software's support.
Pros
Good flow between nursing documents
Helpful scheduler
Simplified billing process
Cons
More flexibility in the scheduler for non-medicare patients

Alora Home Health Software seems to be well-suited for visit-to-visit nurse charting. There is also a nice flow from OASIS to Plan of Care. We have had occasional difficulty with times from visit notes not transferring to times on the scheduler upon completion of nursing visit notes. Overall, nursing is satisfied with Alora Home Health Software.

Our agency uses Alora Home Health Software as EHR, EVV, Scheduler, billing/invoicing, and mileage tracker/payroll. We manage in house employees, as well as the skilled service IC workers. Prior to Alora Home Health Software, we had several software products, but with Alora Home Health Software we have consolidated to one software. Alora Home Health Software helps keep us compliant with Medicare billing and state regulations with EVV requirements. Alora Home Health Software is not well suited for charting for patient on ventilator.
Alora Home Health is used on a daily basis by our company. It enables us to chart in home visit notes, write orders, fax plan of care, perform billing and track accounts receivables. We are able to pull reports and know that we are staying CMS compliant with visit verification. It has helped us tremendously with our new company and it is the best decision I made as a business owner.
Pros
Ease of charting
Integrated billing to Inovolon clearinghouse
Awesome Customer Support
Cons
A plan for next visit feature would be nice
The wounds charted from SOC to role over into the first visit note rather then adding it back

I recently had 3 claims that I kept getting rejected through the clearinghouse. I called customer support and was able to get real time help same work day. I was able to set up zoom call and share screen and was walked through all the ways that could be causing problem. Guided me through how to correct problem and gave me more confidence to do it next time solo.
