Agorapulse is a dream social media management software!

We were looking for scheduling software that did exactly what's promoted, no hurdles. We're so happy that Agorapulse was that for us! We've tried many different competitors, but Agorapulse is my personal favourite, and the one that I'm going to be sticking with.

Not only is the scheduling software a breeze, but the analytics, assigning posts, inbox, and more, are fantastic features we use on the daily.

We're happy to use this software to post daily across many social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) for both internal use and client use.

Pros

Impressive, fast communication (customer support)
Easy scheduling tools -- with a nice social media preview feature!
Accurate social media metrics reports (and making top performing content easy to see and detailing how it's top performing!)

Cons

Adding scheduling for other platforms (like Threads!)
Organizing for additional clients (which I know is on the way!)

Likelihood to Recommend

Want to run a social media department? I think Agorapulse is perfect. In my experience, it has everything you need post-strategy to make sure your posts are being seen, and then tells you by HOW MUCH they're being seen.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Agorapulse is being used by our community team, which is 2 people. Our associate position plans and schedules social media posts, while my position as manager is to review and either reassign for editing or approve for posting. Agora is great for managing everything from one place and makes it easier to export analytics for review.

Pros

Laying out the different social media accounts on the calendar
Allowing responses and tagging across social media all in one place
Scheduling a post for multiple channels is easy and a time-saver

Cons

Would love to have a draft feature. We often don't schedule things until the assets are ready, or use a placeholder image and swap them afterwards
Editing posts intended for multiple channels is not as easy as scheduling them in the first place. I would love to edit and have the same menu I do as when I'm scheduling where I have my base text and then the adjusted text for each social media. It's rare that something I've planned to be a similar post across channels, needs editing, but only for one of those channels. e.g. Correcting mistakes or changing strategies.
Currently, I export the analytics and put it in a Google Sheet where I have more control over the data, which I love. For me to use the Agora Reports system, I would need substantial features like comparing metrics in the same charts, using direct line charts instead of smoothed (smoothed charts look nice, but just obfuscate data), separating out paid growth, etc. It's probably too large an ask for what Agora is trying to provide, which is why the export tool is very useful.
While I'm talking about it, a slight bug with the export tool is that when you export two things in quick succession, it just sends a duplicate of the first report via email. I'll export a CSV of Global data and then a CSV of Content, and if I do it too quickly, it doubles up the Global data and I don't get the Content until I resend.
More specific filtering for listening. Sometimes someone has our brand in their name and we get ALL of their content. We have to add each user like this to the filter instead of being able to filter out usernames that contain it.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think Agora is great for small teams looking to schedule posts and respond to users. I haven't used it at scale, so I can't recommend it for larger companies, but I love it for what we do. If you're savvy with Google Sheets, then the Agora exports are really handy. If you don't need specific data or the ability to compare metrics, and just want a surface-level look at your social performance, the analytics tools are nice.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Agorapulse to centrally manage the company and my personal social media. It allows us to plan and address the marketing effort across the various social media platforms. It is key to assure that the posts are reviewed not only for their content but for message correctness. Another key aspect of social media is to have posts be delivered when they will create the most impact which means scheduling which is a key component of Agorapulse.

Ability to have someone else review the post prior to release

Cons

Reporting not available for personal accounts
Adding TikTok
Ability to tag personal accounts in LinkedIn and FaceBook
When copying from one platform to another, one has to go and redo the tags or they will not come up properly. If the the @ is the same in the two platforms, it should take that into consideration and not ask to re-enter.

Likelihood to Recommend

[Agorapulse] is pricey compared to other offerings, but the reporting that is provided and the opportunity to understand the impact is second to none. Being able to also cover several of one's platforms with an easy to read calendar allows for planning for the social media activities.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As a telecommunications company with a social media department of 1, we needed a solution to allow for posting to multiple networks that offered easy reporting. We also wanted to implement social listening as a company, and Agorapulse checked that box. We manage our Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram networks with Agorapulse.

We found Agorapulse to be very easy to use, and easy to start out with and learn their platform. The automated reporting has helped us show ROI for Facebook and prepare professional reports for Leadership to see the impact from our social efforts. It's easy to reshare prior content and repurpose content for other networks. The social media calendar is also helpful to plan content for the month and share with others. We used the content approval process with a marketing intern. We wanted them to be able to create posts, but still wanted to have the final approval before the posts went live. It worked very well.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using Agorapulse to [streamline] posting for our various products. We use a workflow with the product teams so they can share new content for approval, and Marketing can review and schedule posts. This makes it easier for us so marketing does not have to understand every new blog post or piece of technical content in order to create a social post.

Pros

Easy-to-use and visually appealing web interface
Assigning posts for approval
Adding users or social profiles. It's both simple to add users or profiles, and the pricing structure means you can purchase one new profile or user at a time without having to upgrade to a much more expensive tier with lots of slots we don't need.

Cons

The mobile app. It's time-consuming to review listening posts because the sidebar menu only shows the inbox. It's not clear this is happening until you started clicking [around] and realizing it. You also can't approve YouTube comments from the mobile app.
We like scheduling content across multiple profiles at once, but have to add a step because we can only customize one link on the thumbnail image.
There is no approval process available for comments/replies to messages or posts.

[Agorapulse is] a good price for what it is and easy to scale and onboard new employees.

As soon as I got into the job, I wanted to ease some processes and make it simpler for the team to manage social profiles for our clients and for the agency as well. Agorapulse was the perfect answer for us. Thanks to it, we can create our posts on our own and take some time to give feedback before posting them. We're not using Agorapulse at its full power but it has already proved it worth. In the near future, we're going to improve its implementation in our workflow to make it even easier to use even for our new members.

In short, it's easy to pick, hard to master, but way simpler than using several tools for each social media platform.

Agorapulse is well suited for agencies or even small companies. It's easy to use to make the community management a task shared among the crew. In my opinion, it's one of the best tools I've been using. Even the help desk is great when we couldn't figure out some mistakes. But I have to say it would be even better to use it on all social media. With new tools, such as TikTok or Snapchat or even Google My Business, some small agencies/companies cannot use Agorapulse. They have to go on other tools to do so.

Agorapulse is used by the marketing department to schedule Facebook posts. It allows us to quickly and easily see which posts are scheduled for which days. It's also great at highlighting gaps that we need to fill. The calendar feature is great to use as a quick overview of what is scheduled and allows multiple users to edit.

Pros

Calendar view is great for seeing what is scheduled
it's very simple to edit times and dates

Cons

Sometimes the chat button hides a day on the calendar and it's hard to click on the correct date

Likelihood to Recommend

It's great for when you are sharing personal content that you want to shared a few time spread over a few weeks. The posts are really easy to set up so that you can republish regularly, just once or schedule the post again without having to go through the hassle of inputting the title and other bits and pieces again.

Our company implements Agorapulse for social media marketing and consumer engagement. The usage is limited to social media customer service but is used on a daily basis to moderate and publish marketing ads.

Pros

Organization is a breeze.
Agorapulse provides an overview of all social media accounts and interactions on said accounts.

Cons

Allow sub-admin privileges to members of a team.
Would like the ability to use GIFs in posts and replies.

Likelihood to Recommend

Agorapluse is perfect for smaller but growing company's, as it offers a wide variety of organizational tools as well as publishing, marketing, reports, and customer insights. I recommend this if you're looking for a platform from which you can connect all social media accounts to.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

At Pixajoy, we use Agorapulse for the Marketing Department. It's useful for our Content managers to be able to plan and schedule posts across our various social media channels and manage messages/inquiries from one platform. It's been very useful, especially since they introduced the carousel option. And the report it generates is also very clear and concise so we're able to use it to prove our matrices.

Pros

You can export your Agorapulse results into power point which is useful when you're trying to put together a full report for your bosses.
You can publish carousel images now - which is a big plus if you're working with products and need to show off your product highlights.

Cons

Would love if Agorapulse had a function to schedule instagram stories too.
Would also be great if we could see our instagram inbox in agora pulse as well as opposed to just comments left on posts and ads.

Likelihood to Recommend

It's best suited when you're managing a lot of social media channels that utilise similar/same content. You don't have to go and purposely create a new post - you can just duplicate it and make a few edits to the original post to better fit different channels. If you're planning to post a carousel image over the weekend, you just have to make sure to be alert as they don't automatically post. They'll send you a push notification on your phone so be sure not to miss the timing.
