Agorapulse is an amazing tool that has saved us many headaches. We know have much snappier in response times than the high profile competition in this space with a dedicated support team who answer all queries quickly and correctly. Management and stakeholders adore the in-depth and aesthetically pleasing reporting functions Agorapulse generates at the touch of a button. We receive constant updates with new features and tools, and I can see they take feedback from users and actually allocate resources into investigating the never-ending 'wants list' of the clients.

Pros

  • Site navigation and responsiveness.
  • Logical pathways to execute tasks.
  • Reliability of sharing content at the right time.

Cons

  • A number of things would be 'cool to use' however they are only applicable to me in my use case. Agorapulse was quick to respond to these feature requests and I look forward to seeing some/all in the near future.
  • I would like better CRM in the response area (i.e. the ability to put customers into buckets to mass respond when there is news specifically for them).

Likelihood to Recommend

Agorapulse is well suited for small, medium and even large businesses who are looking to take social media seriously. This tool will get you off the ground, allow you to grow a brand and more importantly, quickly respond to customers comments and questions.

We use it on daily basis mostly for social media moderation and monitor the conversation online. It’s great to collaborate with other team member especially for assigning some message to our customer services

Pros

  • Customer service is quick and efficient. The chat box is very useful
  • The social inbox is great and give an Easter view of our multiple social profiles
  • Easy connecting to social platforms

Cons

  • They are always improving the reporting section but I think they can dig deeper in the reporting

We have over 30 separate websites and each has a Facebook and Twitter profile. We use Agorapulse to schedule several social posts per day, per site.

Pros

  • Calendar view allows us to easily see what is scheduled.
  • The ability to have all social profiles listed in one place.

Cons

  • Mass uploading of social posts, including the appropriate image, would be useful.
  • Mass updating of all scheduled posts to make changes or updates.
  • Download past post into a format that will allow for minor changes with the ability to then re-upload.

It is well suited for when you'd like to schedule posts across multiple social media accounts.

We use AgoraPulse for monitoring several platforms and being able to schedule content and work on several social media accounts at the same time. We are currently using this service for our Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Google+. Since we have a lot of Cantonese members, we use RenRen as well but we can't use AgoraPulse for RenRen right now. We use our social media for promotional contents and announcements. We had to contact customer service several times and they have one of the best customer service teams I've experienced.

  • Being able to monitor several accounts

Cons

  • More social media platforms could be added
  • Images posted through this software sometimes become blurry
  • The interface can be improved

If you manage several social media accounts, then this software is useful. If you are managing only one social media account, this might not be useful.

It is used by me alone as the social media manager. It solves the problem of being able to pre-schedule our evergreen content. It also allows us to duplicate our evergreen content for future posts fast and easily.

Pros

  • Scheduling ahead: Saves so much time!
  • Calendar view: easy to see and manage.
  • Takes recommendations from the actual users: So great that they listen to the needs and wants of the end users.
  • Easy to duplicate and repurpose successful content.
  • Nice reporting tools.

Cons

  • I have been using AgoraPulse for a little over a month and in that time have experienced 2-3 different bugs in the platform that reduced my productivity for those days.
  • If a post fails to be sent, for whatever reason (mine weren't sent because of internal bugs!), there is no clear and easy way to repost it again without re-doing all the work to make that post again, as far as I can see.
  • AgoraPulse has the ability to tell the user the best times to post, but doesn't have a feature that automatically sends posts at that ideal time...seems like an obvious feature to me...
  • There have been regular issues with the Instagram API bridge whereby the connection or token is lost and my scheduled posts all fail till it's fixed.

Compared to Hootsuite, the customer service is second to NONE!! All the bugs I have encountered since switching to AgoraPulse don't matter to me because I KNOW that customer service will be there every step of the way to help.

  • Having alerts over my brand name and activities
We are a small company so I manage it by myself. It satisfies all the company's social media needs.

Pros

  • Segmentation of the brand content and editorial planning.
  • Managing comments and messaging
  • Data and reports are extremely well

Cons

  • Doesn't handle stories
  • Tagging people can be difficult in some cases

At the agency, we made the decision to use AgoraPulse to better manage the social networks of our customers.

Since then, it's a real time saver. Sometimes, notifications via Facebook were hidden and did not reach us. Since we use this tool we do not miss any notification, which allows to be reactive with users and to develop a real commitment.

Moreover, the reports are really efficient, fast and practical, they avoid a big loss of time spent counting each number, to examine each data. It's a tool I can not do without!

If you manage several social networks, AgoraPulse is an indispensable tool. It makes it possible to group the social networks of all your customers, not to miss the notifications and thus to generate the commitment by answering everything!

Our company uses AgoraPulse to manage our growing social media accounts. Our flagship product is a music production app, so AgoraPulse allows us to easily find and engage with our app users and the content they generate using the app.

Pros

  • AgoraPulse groups together social media mentions in an easy-to-use, elegantly designed interface.
  • AgoraPulse includes sophisticated report generating capability for users looking for more in-depth information on who is engaging with their organization/brand on social media.
  • AgoraPulse offers an affordable and social media management tool for companies of various sizes, plans are available to scale to the size of the organization being served.

Cons

  • The very helpful information on individual users who your brand comes into contact with (e.g. how many messages you've exchanged with a user, how often they mention your organization/brand) is not easy to see unless you know where to look for it.

Likelihood to Recommend

I can only speak to my and my company's experience with AgoraPulse, which has been excellent for our small and growing company! It helps our organization keep on top of social media with a very reasonable allocation of time and resources.

Pros

  • Gathering comments and direct messages from social media profiles.
  • Puts all your socials content into one very easy to use place including paid content.

  • Mobile app lacks functionality found on desktop version (i.e. filters for messages)

AgoraPulse is being used to organize and publish our social media content. It is also being used to monitor social media chatter and messages that we need to respond to. Sometimes those kinds of replies go unacknowledged and that eliminates opportunities to hear from prospective customers and/or learn about who they are, what they need, where they live etc. I haven't used the analytics options yet but I'm looking forward to it. It is not being used across the whole organization because I am the one who is filtering company information and publishing it for the public. The biggest business problem that has been solved is organization.

Pros

  • The setup of social media content is done very well. AgoraPulse allows you space and time to fill out the editor with what you want to use and say.
  • Very thorough so the posts get posted and we get immediate notifications when there are things to respond to.
  • It allows you to organize multiple accounts in one place.
  • Offers some great insights into the analytics of our clients and the conversations happening on those channels.

Cons

  • The cost is a little too high.
  • It would be nice to be able to customize the name/link of who is publishing content instead of just saying "manager".
