I use Adobe Acrobat for the following: -Document management -Converting PDF files to Word and Word to PDF -Redacting sensitive information to share with our suppliers. -Editing procedure steps. Adobe is very convenient and easy to use since the app is user friendly. It makes my job quicker and simpler.
Pros
Documents are easy and quick to search for
Converting files are quick. No need to use third party software
Redacting supplier names from sensitive documents to show customers
Cons
Licenses for each individuals are high cost
Too many unnecessary functions and tools that aren't used for my work
Too many emails from Adobe that are unrelated to my job
Likelihood to Recommend
It's well suited for companies that have a higher budget and want to give their employees an easier work balance. Things are less tedious with Adobe such as editing pdf files that don't convert to Word

I use Adobe Acrobat to save and edit documents for work. I love how easy it is to navigate. The features are amazing. At first, I had a little trouble using it as I would always run into a pop-up screen asking for a id to sign in. Once i was shown how to register and the product, I was ready to go! I love Adobe Acrobat and definitely would recommend it to other employees and employers.
Pros
edit documents
add images
import and export files
and and or edit links
Cons
the serial number requirement can be a bit annoying sometimes
adding bookmarks
attaching certain files

I am currently in Property Management and that job requires a lot of important documents to be edited and created. I use Adobe Acrobat a lot to create documents and edit leases if necessary. This tool is very efficient and easy to use. i create excel documents and send them as pdf files to my coworkers and it is so easy to navigate as well.

We use Adobe Acrobat everyday. It is the industry standard for PDF documents. It is used everyday to send PDFs to clients to and sign contracts. I create press quality files for reproduction of brochures, cut sheets price lists and any type of collateral we send out to customers. Also used to make low res files for website downloads.
Pros
Press Quality files for reproduction
Email format that everyone can open
Cons
Nothing it is the industry standard
Likelihood to Recommend
It can be universally read my almost everyone, so sending them in email attachments you have piece of mind that your recipient will be able to open the file.
We use it to open and edit all of our pdf files, which include invoices, bills of quantities, etc. But also to sign documents. It is also being used on all of our platfoms, so all Windows, Android and iPhone devices which are enrolled via Intune. The app is automatically being pushed to the devices and used as a primary way of opening and handling pdf files. The benefit of this is all-round compatibility and correct formatting of pdf's accross all device groups.
Pros
Cross-platform support. Pdf's look exactly the same across all device groups
Extensive editing features in comparison to other products
Scanned documents can be edited and the ocr works quite well, even if the source material isn't perfect
Cons
It feels like a heavy app that needs longer to start up in comparison to other pdf editors, I feel like it take up more resources as well
It is quite expensive, just like other Adobe products
Our not-so-technical users find it to be a bit complex or overwhelming and need some time to get into it
Likelihood to Recommend
It is less appropriate as a lightweight and fast merging tool. For creating our bill of quantities, 400 pdf's need to be merged to one as part of a macro. This is not possible with Adobe Acrobat, or at least not in a fast way that consumes a lot of resources. For this we are currently using PDFtk which is lightning fast in merging these pdf's.

We use Adobe Acrobat for viewing, editing, and signing PDF's. Adobe Acrobat is a program I use daily. I think the feature set has improved significantly over my time using the program. The edit function has saved me from needing to rebuild old assets in InDesign. I cannot recommend this more.
Pros
Signing PDF's
Editing PDF's
Viewing PDF's
Cons
PDF Permissions
Asset extraction from a PDF
Font Issues
Likelihood to Recommend
Adobe Acrobat is VERY helpful. I sign all my PDF's with it, I edit PDF's and it is nice to have those all live in one place. The signature function is also invaluable for me as I need to sign a lot of virtual documents. Any colleague would be thrilled with this program.
Everyone in our company has an account for Adobe Acrobat. We have about 20 licenses for the team and the app is used daily. Our main use is editing pdfs and converting from one format to another, i.e. PDF to Word. We also utilize the signature use occasionally. Every Word file we create eventually gets converted to PDF and opened with Adobe Acrobat, so the app is constantly in use with our team.
Pros
Format converting
Editing PDFs
Quick access to safely sign a document
Cons
When editing text, it can sometimes get a little tricky getting paragraphs to line back up if too much is added
Paragraph grouping needs to be a little better when editing. Often times sentences with be split into two separate text blocks

Adobe Acrobat is hands-down the best app to use when opening PDFs. Everyone on our team uses it daily. Though the free version offered is great, we pay for Pro to access the extra tools like editing and converting formats. I think for a general document, the signature tool is great, but it's not on the level as Docusign when it comes to important or legal documents.

We use Adobe Acrobat to enable forms to be edited so they can completed digitally on apps, this comes in useful when documents on construction sites need to be completed daily or multiple times a day. We also use Adobe Acrobat to edit PDFs and even convert them back to a word document.
Pros
Edit PDFs
Adobe Acrobat has an AI feature to help understand a document or summarise
Prepare forms
Cons
Sometimes documents do not print very well when printing from Adobe Acrobat
The app often has to be restarted

We use a construction app called Paperless, which means that the employees on site can fill out any site briefings, such as RAMS and COSHH briefings on a phone/tablet. Some of these documents require a digital signature, Adobe Acrobat has a feature called prepare form which allows us to edit PDFs for this purpose. As far as we are aware, this is the only software compatiable

We use Adobe Acrobat for PDF creation, manipulation, combination, modification, and e-signatures. We have had as many as 30 seats at times but have reduced recently for other products in the AEC industry. Although Adobe Acrobat is still prevalent, I truly believe a refresh is desperately needed, especially in the areas of the Cloud and update delivery and notification.
Pros
Create PDFs
Combine PDFs
Modify PDFs
Cons
Speed
Reliability
Cloud delivery
Likelihood to Recommend
I believe Adobe Acrobat still does a good job at creating PDFs whether it be directly printing or through the application interface. Adobe Acrobat has not kept up in the AEC industry especially when it comes to project tracking and forwarding of signed or modified documents. I think project flow needs allot of work to keep up with competition.

Adobe is used daily. We have a lot of designs that go out to subcontractors and other people. I have to make sure that the documents are not easily modified as well since there are numerous vendors who I do not know personally. Thus with this it is very difficult for anyone to change it without having the correct program.
Pros
Edit objects
Edit text
Delete and modify design
Cons
Expense
Features hard to maneuver
Not able to buy - must have a subscription

I need to design flyers regularly and I am NOT an artist. Nor am I artistic. I am able to use adobe to generate a specific design and then rework it to my needs. I can do this easily and without frustration. If I was an artist then this may not be the best program. But I am able to put together snappy documents and flyers with this.
I work for a commercial construction company and we use Adobe Acrobat for multiple purposes. We use it to read blueprints mostly. We can send our and receive quotes, drawings, and documents. The Adobe Acrobat pro version is used to sign contracts as well as to modify and edit blueprints.
Pros
Edting
overlay and signing
send and receive files that can not be edited by others
Cons
some files do not always save in a correct format from Microsoft word
some files do not always save in a correct format from Microsoft excel
I do not have any complaints with Adobe. I LOVE IT

Adobe Acrobat is specifically used by me in a work setting. Being in commercial construction, the ability to send and receive files quickly, and safely is ideal. I typically send out roughly 15-25 files per day and receive roughly the same. It is well suited in a professional work environment.
